Spicy beanie headed boys POV (a.k.a jughead)

"Dammit!" i shout slamming my laptop lid closed. "what is it Jones?" veronica asks leaning over from behind the counter at Pops. "Nothing, i- im just having really bad writers block with my new novel im writing." I continue a stressful yet relieving conversation with veronica. "one minute, ill be back. ive got customers." she says squeezing my hand to make me feel better.

Sabrinas POV

After exploring the town of riverdale for a bit, me roz and susie decide to grab something to drink. we spotted a place called 'Pops' on the front a sign that said 'Milkshakes' "Down for milkshakes?" Susie asked. We walked into this so called Pops Diner, the raven haired lady assured us its open seating. We grabbed a booth by the back. "Dammit!" i hear, from a boy shouting at the counter. "what is it jones?" the raven girl asked him. "Nothing i-im just having-" "whos that spicy beanie headed boy?" Roz asked overlapping him. "he sure is pretty cute." I said "he looks kinda edgy though." Susie said. "i mean thats fine, im edgy too. i am a witch remind you." i said as we all laughed. The girl squeezed his hand and started walking over to us. "Hello, welcome to Pops! My names Veronica! Here are some Menus." she says handing them to us, then returning to the boy, probably her boyfriend. We all scanned the menus, deciding to just get milkshakes as we werent very hungry, just thirsty. Veronica comes back with a note pad and pulls a pen out from behind her ear. "Ill get the double chocolate shake." susie says "ill get a vanilla sprinkle milkshake." Roz said "uhh.." i said kinda sidetracked from staring at the boy. "ill get the um, cheep cherry shake please." i say as we all hand her the menus and smile.

"what was that?" roz asked as veronica walked back to the counted to prepare our shakes. "w-what was what?" i ask even though i knew exactly what she was talking about. susie giggled. and we looked at her "it's obvious, she has a crush on that guy." she said. "what??? no i dont! i mean yea he's attractive but im not crushing on him..!" i said as roz raised an eyebrow. a few minutes later the nice veronica girl came by with our shakes. "here you go, enjoy!" she said as we all thanked her. i continue my conversation with susie and roz while in the background i hear "i have to use the bathroom" veronica said untying her apron "hold down the fort jughead? "she asked the boy whos name or nickname probably was 'jughead' "yep, but if someone walks in here and points a gun at me demanding for money-" he says chuckling "wouldnt be the first time" she laughed and walked into the back. "sabrina!!" roz shouted and snapped her fingers in front of my face, snapping me back into reality. "uhh, what i- sorry." i say still focusing my eyes on the boy. suddenly he turned around and stared at us sipping his coffee, he raised an eyebrow and i smiled at him. then went back to talking to my friends.

"one minute ill be back." i say and get up "where are you going?" susie asks "im going to get some fries." i lie. they look at me knowing im lying "ok fine! im going to talk to that guy."
i say and walk away from the booth. as i approach the counter. he turns and looks at me while i smile. "hi." i say sitting next to him. "hey, im Jughead." "nice to meet you! im sabrina." we exchange handshakes. "whatcha working on? writing something?" i ask implying about whatevers on his laptop. "yes actually, im writing a story about a gruesome murder at a school.." he says and chuckles taking another sip of his coffee "oh!.." i say kinda shocked. "i-is it a true story?" i ask. "well, most of it is, some parts not. its kinda about the last couple months of my life." he says laughing. "im kidding!" he says. i could see right though him, he wasnt kidding. man i knew riverdale wasn't exactly sunshine and rainbows from all those rumours but god. "so, you new here? ive literally.. never seen you before" he asks. "oh, uh no me and my friends are from greendale. we just came here for the day to explore riverdale for the first time." he suddenly had a shocked look on his face.

Jugheads POV

"so, you new here? ive literally.. never seen you before" i ask the sabrina girl. "oh, uh no me and my friends are from greendale. we just came here for the day to explore riverdale for the first time." my heart stopped. greendale is where me and the serpents kicked penny off to. where she was currently living. oh dear god please say she doesnt know her. "you okay?" she asks touching my hand. i flinch my hand away. "uhh.." what do i say? either i have i girlfriend? or i threatened and almost killed someone in greendale. "y-yea, im fine. i- lets just say i dont have the greatest experience with greendale.." i say looking at the table and then back at her over again a couple times. "..also i uh, i have i girlfriend." i say. Veronica pops out from the kitchen suddenly (no pun intented) "oh.. im- im sorry." she says getting up. and stumbling a bit. "wait- sorry i-" i said. but she chuckled and walked away.

"uhhhh.. what just happened?" veronica asks me. i look away from sabrina and look at a confused veronica. "oh. uh she tried to flirt with me." i said "then uh.. she mentioned she was from greendale, and i got all weird. cause well, thats where i. the serpents and i, had that thing with penny." i whisper so they didnt hear us. "oh yeah, i forgot about that." i forget about it and try to start writing again.

Sabrinas POV

i walk on back to the booth and sit down with my friends awkwardly while he watches me walk away. "lemme guess, he has a girlfriend." susie says. "yeah he does." i say sipping my milkshake. "it's probably that veronica girl." roz says. "yeah maybe.. also he got all weird when i said i was from greendale. said he didnt have 'the best experience with riverdale.' " i say quoting him. We all ignore that awkward moment and talk about other things.

Jugheads POV

ugh.. seriously. i still cant come up with anything for my book. i needed my inspiration.

*ring ring*

"hey betts"
"hey juggie whats up?"
"nothing i just wanted to know if you could come to pops, im having a hard time writing my novel and wanted to you to come and be my inspiration."
"of course! ill be there in 5"
