ϟ Three

Ji Hyun sat in between her father and Lee Soo Man, who both stood, staring at the large screen that was connected to her computer.

One thing for sure, the only two people in the room that could understand whatever was on the screen was Ji Hyun and her father.

A mixture of confusion and awe were seen on everyone's faces within the room, and the only sound you could hear was her fingers furiously tapping onto her keyboard.

Encodings and difficult patterns were seen on screen, until Ji Hyun pauses for a brief moment, looking up to the group.

"Who were the two that were ambushed today?"

Haechan and Jaehyun both raised their hands, answering Ji Hyun's question.

"May I just ask, where is the location of the store, and what time did it occur?"

Jaehyun and Haechan both looked at each other, before Jaehyun spoke, feeling responsible to speak as he knew he was older in the situation.

"It's the corner convenience store across the SM Building. 172 Donggun Street, Happy Mart. It happened around 7 in the evening, so about six hours ago."

Ji Hyun nodded, thanking the boy before typing a few keys. In just a few seconds, a video pops up.

It was a cctv footage of the incident.

The time and date was shown on the bottom corner of the screen, as well as the lit up sign of the store on the top right. Two silhouettes were exiting the store, most likely the two idols in their casual wear.

"Whoever these 'threatening' guys are, are pretty brave and stupid to do something like this where security cameras are accessible." The girl scoffs, about to play the video until an instinctive feeling stopped her. She looked up again, concern written in her face.

"Are you comfortable enough to allow me to watch the cctv footage? This was what was caught around the time of incident, and it may be traumatic for you two as you have just experienced it. You may step outside if you'd like to, I just need to see if I can recognize who they are."

Despite Haechan's shaky breath, he nodded in confirmation along with Jaehyun. The rest of the members wanted to stay as well, curious as to how the incident all played out.

Ji Hyun continues, tapping the space bar to indicate the beginning of the video. The two were seen walking out of the store, talking and laughing when two men in black came out from the security footage frame. The two masked men came for them behind their backs, knives against their throats.

Shock was evident on their faces as they instinctively tried to get out of the right grip.

Audible gasps were heard throughout the room. Some from the staffs, others from the members. Ji Hyun and Jung Hwa monitored quietly.

Haechan's hands began to feel clammy just seeing their scared faces on the screen. It's as if he was still there.

Jaehyun was first to remove the strong grip from the man behind him, kicking his groin before pulling the knife away from Haechan's throat, kicking the man in the shin.

Haechan spots the man who was behind Jaehyun getting back up, kicking the knife farther from him before stomping his hand.

The members cringe at the sight, as the video is put to a pause as the two idols run out from the frame.

"Your self defense skills weren't so bad. Quick reflexes." Ji Hyun comments, fingers intertwined as her focus remains on the computer screen.

The men stayed on the ground for a few defined before getting up, heading to the opposite direction in a limp.
