What happens when one day, Ji Hyun is given a mission to protect twenty one boys by her agency...
"The meeting is almost done, Donghyuck. It's for our safety after all." Taeyong softly speaks as he pats his younger member on the back, comforting his shaken up state.
The members of NCT and WayV were currently taking a break from a long meeting in one of SM's largest conference rooms within the building.
It wasn't for new releases of music (much to the boy's dismay), nor was it for a new fan concert. Rather, it was regarding their safety and the current situation at hand.
The boys were a target for a group of people who had dangerous intentions along with other groups within the company, though the allegedly dangerous group mainly targeted NCT and WayV.
This alarmed the members very much, especially the boys who were easily anxious like Jisung and Jungwoo.
It all began when a series of threatening emails surfaced upon SM's computers stating that the anonymous group will be coming for the boys.
A few days after, one by one, the boys began to receive calls from unknown numbers, causing them to constantly change their phone numbers to a point where they were not safe enough to even have one. The sudden meeting was now due to the physical contact that occurred earlier on.
Haechan was walking to the nearby convenience store around seven in the evening along with his current roommate Jaehyun, when they were ambushed by a pair of two masked men in black.
The image of the pocket knife against his throat wouldn't go away, thus placing his shaky hands in his coat pockets.
If it wasn't for Jaehyun and Donghyuck's quick reflexes and short self defense lessons from Johnny, they probably wouldn't have made it out alive.
Jaehyun seemed a little out of it, quieter than usual. Even though he wasn't showing signs of fear, his heart pounded like crazy.
It was now midnight, and the meeting was put to a halt when the security guard from below called the SM staffs stating that the requested agency has arrived.
Everyone seemed pretty tired at first, but when the two boys came back looking like they ran a marathon with fear written on their faces, the sleepy feeling left them, being replaced with a feeling of discomfort.
"What agency did they say it was?"
"Mr. Soo Man-sshi wasn't specific, but as far as I'm aware they're the best Korea's got." NCT 127's manager replies to Doyoung, also unaware of the current situation.
The five managers of NCT and WayV were contacting a bunch of companies, cancelling and postponing the upcoming events in case the threatening group knew their schedules. It was odd for those masked men to know where the two were, especially without a manager.
"How long do you think this will last?" Mark asks, earning shrugs from the rest of the group.
"Winwin Ge, have you interacted anything odd yet?" Chenle asks his older member in Chinese. The boy nods, earning a look from all the Chinese members.
"It wasn't noticeable, but when WayV and I were coming out of the airport, there was a guy following us all the way to our parking. It just seemed like any other fan, but I knew something was off when I looked down to see he was armed with a huge gun."
This set off a commotion between the Chinese members of the group, the others confused as to what the yelling was all about.
"What are you guys saying?"
"Winwin saw an armed man following WayV out up to the parking lot of the airport." Renjun translates to the rest, setting everyone in the room into panic. This sent a chilling feeling in the spines of the two who experience the first hand threat. They were all starting to get nervous and scared for their safety.
"I'm going to use the restroom." Johnny gets up from his chair, leaving the conference room and into the empty hallways. He too, felt overwhelmed with the sudden situation.
Why us? What did we do to become a target, and what for?
"Ah, I forgot my laptop. Let me go get it, I'll meet you in the meeting room!"
Johnny's deep thoughts were interrupted as a tall girl bumps into him. You would think it was soft, but the girl stood pretty firm as he held onto her to prevent her from losing balance.
"I'm so sorry! Thank you." The girl bows in apology before continuing on, not looking back at him.
KSIA.
Johnny reads the back of the tall girl's uniform, the large letters catching his attention. He's never seen anyone with a uniform like that in the building. The girls polo was worn with a pair of black fitted cargo pants, and black combat boots.
Is she a security guard?
Once Johnny came back, he noticed Lee Soo Man along with a tall man in a professional suit already in the conference room. He bows respectfully, acknowledging their presence.
"Johnny, good to see you. Have a seat. Good, everyone's here. Now before I begi-"
"Not everyone. My daughter just went to fetch her laptop to see if she can access any information. She'll be here in a little." The tall suited man interrupts their Boss. The boys begin to straighten their backs, intimidated by the two highly ranked men.
"Ah yes, Ji Hyun isn't it? Isn't she still quite young to be in your agency?" Soo Man asks, hands behind his back.
"Well she does learn from the best. She's one of our top agents, so you shouldn't be worr-"
A knock was heard throughout the conference room, interrupting the tall man.
"Sorry about that."
Johnny recognizes the tall girl from the hallway right away, entering along with one of the SM staff who guided her into the room. The lady thanks the staff before making her way towards her father.
She held a laptop in one arm as she made it front and center of the room. She places her laptop on the table, opening it to connect to the big screen as if she's done it a million times.
By now, everyone's attention is directed towards the three, most especially the beautiful young lady.
"Great. Now everyone is here. Everyone, let me introduce you to these two who are here with me today." Lee Soo Man announces, and for the first time since the girl walked in, she lifted her head towards the twenty one boys, showing a small smile as if their handsome looks never phased her.
"Meet Son Jung Hwa, the CEO of the Korean Secret Intelligence Agency, also known as KSIA.
And this is his daughter, Son Ji Hyun. A secret agent of the KSIA."
