"Bye Moony!" Melody and Omar shouted.

"See ya tomorrow!" Moonlake shouted as he skipped away so he could go home. The Eevees just finished hanging out at the football field in East London and now it was just Melody and Omar.

"Isn't he the cutest thing" Omar said.

"Yeah, his squishy cheeks, hehe ~" Melody said.

"Anyway... Are you ready?" Omar asked, showing the Sun Gem.

"For anything" Melody added, showing the Moon Gem.

The two sat on the grass and closed their eyes, everyday they went to that exact spot to harness the Moon and Sun gems and learn about them and their powers, as soon as the sun started setting, the two opened their eyes, Omar's eyes were gold, Melody's were silver, both glowing and flaming, the gems were glowing brightly as energy danced around the two, they opened their paws and a sword each began to materialise in their paws. Melody smiled, so did Omar, the two lunged at each other and started sparring with the swords.

Meanwhile, just as Moonlake was about to enter the tube station, the Eevee's eyes started flashing and his gem began pulsing gold and silver light.

"This has been going on for weeks. What the hell could be making this thing act up" Moonlake asked himself. Then an image of the two practicing appeared in his head and went away as fast as a lightning strike. The Eevee looked back and started running to the park.

Meanwhile, the two were sweating as the sparring and swinging got more intense, then the two started pushing against each other, mini lightning lightning strikes started pulsing as the two pushed to try and over when the image of Moonlake running over hit them, that's when they knew they needed to stop.

"Stop!" Omar shouted.

"Right!" Melody replied.

The two stopped fighting and the swords disappeared, their eyes returned to normal, and their gems and eyes ceased glowing.

Moonlake arrived, panting and sweating, to cover up the fact they had the gems, the two started kicking around a ball.

"Do you two have swords?" Moonlake asked.

"That's a weird question to ask" Omar replied, pretending to not know what he was talking about.

"We don't hate each other anymore Moony, we swear" Melody replied, planting her left foot on the ball.

"Mm okay - I'm gonna go now -" Moonlake replied.

"H-Hey Moony?" Omar called out.

Moonlake turned around.

"Don't forget about my birthday" Omar replied, rubbing his arm and blushing.

Moonlake walk over to him and kissed him, before stopping, "Why would I ever?"

Once Moonlake was gone, the two kicked the ball away, the two looked at each other and smiled their eyes turning their respective colours, the swords reappeared and the two started sparring again.

"This time I'll win!" Melody shouted, a confident smile on her face.

"You can only try ¡mi amiga!" Omar replied, smiling confidently as well.

Moonlake didn't really leave he peaked behind the store and saw their chests glowing silver and gold, the Eevee took a closer look and noticed a Sun Gem around Omar's neck and the Moon Gem around Melody's, the two were having so much fun with their sparring match.

"Wh-What the hell?" He said to himself.

Finally, Melody knocked Omar's weapon out of his paw and held it to his throat, "Your were saying?"

Omar crossed his arms, "Fine, you win"

Melody laughed and let her sword disappear before giving him a hug, Omar let his go to before hugging her too.

Moonlake was puzzled so he crept across the street and hid behind a tree. The Eevee was intrigued to see what they were doing.

"Let's practice again tomorrow" Melody replied.

"Right!" Omar replied, the two picked up their stuff and left, Moonlake noticed and dashed for the tube station.

The Eevee had questions flowing in his head. How did they get the gems? How long had they been practicing? Did they get the power under control? They Eevee had so many questions he  wanted to run back and ask them what was going on? But he decided it would be better to spill the jar of questions tomorrow.
