A wave of dizziness hit Eren, making him momentarily nauseous, leaning against the blonde man Eren took shakily and slow breaths.

" That's it, calm down, just breath, the bond took away most of the effects so it shouldn't be too bad" Erwin gently petted the young man's hair to help him calm down which worked, but he couldn't help but notice Eren's hair was soft and fluffy but thick and seemed to get easily tangled

Erwin made a mental note of that while continuing his petting, waiting for Eren to regain his composure. Sometime later Eren was stable enough to demand Erwin put him down, which the man rolled his eyes but obeyed the command.

Going to sit in a throne-like chair behind an equally king like desk. Eren watched him carefully, still a little out of it.

Erwin stared at Eren right back, they held each other's stare for a full minute before Eren's eyes could take it anymore.

"You said we needed to talk... So talk!" Eren snapped at the blonde after wiping his eyes

Erwin stared at the brunette long enough for Eren to scowl at him and stomp his way up to the desk "Talk!" Eren growled

Erwin sighs with a small grin before answering" I have some questions and you have some questions how about we take turns then? But I'm not going to spill everything to you"

Eren nodded, it was technically fair since it wasn't like Eren was going to spill everything either, "fine but I'm going first"

Erwin shrugged, continuing to stare which unnerved the brunette, "that's fair"

Eren cleared his throat before pointing at the blond with a scowl "Why are you so obsessed with me?!"

Erwin leaned his head on his right hand "I'm not obsessed with me, at least not in the way you think"

Eren frowned "just answer the question" Eren folded his arms over his chest and Erwin almost chuckled at the cuteness

"Well two reasons, your blood is divine and because of it, I can't go back to drink regular blood. And two because of this bond you've created" Erwin flashed his fangs and Eren jumped back a little, the memories of the night of the concert flooding into his head

Eren swallowed down all the spit in his mouth, "what bond? I don't remember us imprinting on each other. And why would my blood do that? I'm just a normal human guy"

Erwin scoffed, "I'm not any type of mutt, bunny. And the bond you created when you bite my wrist after I drank some of your blood. And the thing about you're blood I don't understand either. There are only special creatures that can make someone addicted to them with only one taste of them and you're none of those creatures"

Eren frowned "Why would me biting you make a bond? And besides, it sounds like how werewolves or whatever mark each other in stories!"

"Because you ingested my blood right after I ingested yours, it's called a blood bond" Erwin lifted his wrist and the blue string was fully visible now

Eren gasped and immediately tried to yank the string out of his wrist but it just felt like he was trying to yank out an artery instead.

"Fuck!" The brunette cursed, holding his now throbbing wrist to his chest

"That wasn't very smart" Erwin commented, he ran his finger down the soft string "you can't break it, especially not by force, it can only be broken once it's weak enough"

"how do we break it?" Eren asked, playing with the string himself

"Well first we're not breaking it" Eren was about to snap back but a finger on his lip stopped him, Eren gasped, he didn't even notice Erwin move "besides since you'd taken away my sense of taste for any other blood, you'll have to be my food source"

Eren glared hatefully "if you didn't attack innocent people you wouldn't have this problem!"

Erwin scoffed, "Eren you wouldn't know but us 'vampires' have many different abilities, some more specific and special than others."

Eren stared in confusion" some of my abilities are mental based, meaning I can look inside you humans and other creatures brains, your memories, etc" Erwin continued

Eren's eyes widen and he steps back in fear, Erwin smirks lightly "don't worry I'm mostly a decent man so I decided to not invade too many other people's personal thoughts unless necessary"

Eren frowned " that sounds both infuriating and omnipotent" Erwin laughed out loud from that

"it is little one, it is, but as I was saying I only do it when necessary, so I only feast mostly on the guilty, I try and avoid innocents but sometimes it's unavoidable even with my abilities " Erwin went back to his blank face

Eren sighed slowly " unfortunately whether we like it or not innocents will always die"

Erwin nods then shrugs "the first person I killed was a deranged stalker who wanted to kill me than themselves so we'd be together forever while the other was an innocent who got backstage"

Eren huffed "then why'd you attack me when you can read my mind to see my attentions were innocent? " Eren glared

"I can't read you, at least not all the way like I'm used to. And that usually means danger, besides you smell amazing even now. Besides, you caught me while I was feeding and my bloodlust was up" Erwin replied like it was the most obvious thing in the world

" Okay I get that but why can't you just drink the tasteless blood?" Eren shivered at the thought of being this man's blood bag for the rest of his life

"'vampires' and humans taste things for two different reasons, we taste things to know if they give us nutritions or not. If we taste it then it'll give us nutrition, if we can't then it doesn't and it's useless to us. While human mostly taste for pleasure" Erwin shrugged, moving back to his desk and sitting down

Eren rolls his eyes "we don't just taste for pleasure, Smith"

"I never said you did just mostly for pleasure, and now no more questions about me tell me a thing or two about you" Erwin replied smoothly

Eren sighed, it's only far "well as you heard from Armin I have 'Daddy issue' I haven't seen my father in years"

Erwin hummed "I noticed that's a trend with human fathers"

Eren chuckled before he fixed himself "and, I may have an ability of my own but I'm not sure"

Erwin paused before humming" that's interesting"

Eren scowled "I'm not crazy!"

Erwin smirked " oh kitten, I'm literally a 'vampire' nothing is truly crazy"
