The blue string

Eren had dropped Armin off then drove home, trying to figure out what the hell just happened. But no matter what he thought it didn't make sense, vampires aren't real! Right?

Eren let out a shaky sigh, trying his best to relax and forget about what just happened but it was easier said than done. Eren sighed again and parked his car in the parking lot, quickly walking into the apartment complex and and taking the elevator to the fifth floor. Eren quickly went to his apartment and locked the door.

Eren stood in front of the door for a minute before he felt a little furry body rubbing against his leg. Starting to relax Eren smiled, looking down at the silver tabby that was named Rouge. Leaning down Eren gave the cat a soft rub on its head before taking off his shoes.

" Meow Meow Meow Meow Meow (what's wrong? You look a little freaked out)" the cat asked walking next to his human as Eren went into the kitchen.The brunette got a glass of cold water and drank it quickly, recollecting himself

Rouge was slightly concerned now " Meow Meow Meow (what happened? We both know you don't drink water) "

Eren chuckled" Rouge am I crazy?"

Rouge titled his head" Meow Meow Meow (no, why do you ask that?)"

Eren sighed " I mean there must be something wrong with me, I mean, I've always known that. But I was literally attacked by a vampire and we both know normal people can't talk to animals!"

Rouge tensed" Meow Meow (you were attacked by what?!)"

" A vampire!" Eren repeated, he was physically and mentally exasperated right now

Rouge growled " Meow Meow Meow Meow Meow Meow (by who?! Did they bite you? I'll kill them!)"

Eren chuckled, Rouge was so cute when angry " the lead singer of some band, Erwin Smith is his name. And yes on my wrist "

" Meow (let me see!)" Rouge hissed again

Eren raised a brow but showed Rouge his bruise and biten wrist " it's not that bad, just in shock a little "

Rouge hissed more aggressively" Meow Meow Meow (Erwin Smith, I'll scratch his eyes out)"

Eren smiled and picked up the cat, and like normal he climbed and sat on Eren's shoulder " don't worry about it, it's not like I'll ever meet him again "

Rouge huffed" Meow Meow Meow (and if you do I'll make him blind!)"

Eren smiled and nodded going into the bathroom, Rouge sat on the toilet seat and watched as Eren brushed his teeth and hair before hoping into the shower. Once he was done he brushed his freshly washed hair again and threw on some pajamas.

" Meow Meow Meow Meow (don't forget to bandage and disinfectant that bite! You don't want an STD!)" Rouge yelled

Eren stared at his cat blankly for a second " you clearly don't know what the the S in STD stands for. You can't get a-"

" Meow Meow (I don't care! Disinfectant it!)" Rouge yelled again

Eren sighed but didn't as told, quickly disinfecting the wound but it hurt a lot more than it should of though, but Eren ignored it and wrapped the wound.

Rouge followed Eren into the bedroom and once Eren was comfy he jumped up and curled against Eren's neck on his chest.

" Meow Meow (goodnight Eren, don't let the vampires bite) "

Eren choked on his spit, almost throwing the cat off his chest " Rouge!"

Eren could of swore he saw the cat smirk "Meow (sorry, too early)"

Eren huffed and slowly fell asleep but his wrist started to slightly glow, a blue string leading somewhere coming out of the bandaged wound.
