Blood Test

Oh I'm so nervous I can't believe I'm finally 13 and getting tested to see what element I'll be. I'm Sandra Hues a 13 year old girl who lives in territory 4 league 23.

You see the world is split into territories and leagues and every Element family has to live in one. When an Element turns 13 they have to take a test to see what Element they posses.

Now that you know what's going on I'm like 5th in line to get my blood drawn. Yes, that's right blood drawn. To do the test they have to draw blood and test it with different elements to see what will work with you. Now, I heard that this test isn't 100 percent on point so it's not the safest thing but we need Elements.

Time had gone by fast because before I knew it I was sitting in a chair with a lady hovering over me holding a needle. "Just relax" she said.

So, I closed my eyes and in a few seconds it was over. "Go right through those doors," the lady said pointy at giant metal corridors. "And there'll be a waiting area the results will be done in about 2 hours."

I nodded my head stood up and walked through the doors into a grey room full of other 13 year olds.

I calmly sat down in an open area. "Hey," a girl with bright red hair and 2 small braids on either side of her hair with pale skin and light freckles whispered to me. "I'm Claire."

She stuck out her hand. "Sandra." I said shaking her hand.

"You look nervous." She said.

"I am." I was really nervous.

"Don't worry the blood test is 89 percent right." Claire said smirking.

That did not help.

2 hours went by to fast and I sat in a silent room watching kids go by. Finally, 7 people came out holding clipboards.

"When you here your name go with the person that calls it." A tall man said. Great, time to see what I am.
