We FINALLY arrived at Liore, after a week in the desert. Just the three of us, some cacti, and the blazing hot sand. FUN. I sighed, groaning. I HATE the heat. "Ed....when are we gonna be there....." I whined, and Ed glared at me, tripping over some sand. He face-planted in the sand, and got a mouthful of it. I began laughing, and Ed looked up at me, his gold eyes full of annoyance.

"I never wanted to bring you along, Lana, since I KNEW that this would happen eventually." He said, glaring.

"Come to think of it......where's Al?" I asked while Ed spit out the sand in his mouth. I had begun to look a little farther away when I heard a scream from where Ed was. "EDWARD! YOU OK?!" I yelled, running over to him, my boots kicking up sand. When I ran over the hill, I saw Ed chasing Al around in circles, exhausting himself.

"Get....back here....ALPHONSE!!" I heard Ed yell, and I laughed, running down the hill to an exhausted Edward and a giggling Alphonse.

"What happened this time, shortie?" I asked, and he glared at me.

"Nothing, pipsqueak alchemist." He said, and I pushed him over into the sand. Ed laughed and picked up a bunch of sand in his hands, and threw it in my face. I shut my eyes and mouth quickly, but the sand got all over my face and in my long hair.

"EDWARD!! I'M GONNA KILL YOU!!" I yelled, using alchemy on his jacket, and it disappeared into dust.

"LANA!!" He yelled, throwing a fist at me. I ducked, laughing, and did a low sweep, knocking his feet out from under him. He groaned as his head hit the ground, but he pushed up off the ground, getting up to his feet in seconds. I threw a punch at him, using my automail arm, but he caught my arm in his hand, and twisted it. I cried out in pain, and he stopped. "I won that one." He said as I stretched my arm, making sure all the bolts and stuff were in place.

"If you had broken my arm, you'd be paying Winry's rush order fees, got it?" I said, and Ed sighed.

"Yeah yeah. If I've heard that once, I've heard it a million times." Ed said, and I looked over towards the horizon, squinting my eyes.

"Um Ed? Al? I think I see a town over there." I said, and Ed and Al looked where I was squinting, and they nodded in agreement.

"That's gotta be Liore." Ed said, and Al and I nodded in agreement.
