There was a few moments of awkward silence between the two of us before I felt tears fall down my face. I quickly tried to keep Al from seeing them, but it didn't work.

"Are you okay?" Al asked, and I nodded.

"Fine. I'm just fine, Al." I said, but heard my voice break slightly.

"Lana, you're crying. Are you sure you're ok?" Al asked, and I shook my head.

"N-No. I-I miss my mom and dad, Alphonse. I miss them a lot....." I said, crying. Al didn't say anything. He didn't need to. He just hugged me tighter, letting me cry into his metal body. I'd only known them for 7 years, but both brothers treated me like a sister. They were so nice, and the way that they treated me those first few days.....was astounding. They treated me like family.

I got up when I heard someone knocking at the door. I opened it slowly, and saw Major Armstrong. I quickly shut the door behind me, sweating. "Al. It's the Major. This is a little awkward, but can I hide inside of you? I REALLY don't need to get crushed." I asked, and Al nodded, taking off his chest plate, and I crawled inside, putting my arms and legs where they should go, being REALLY careful not to touch the blood-seal. As I hid, Al went up to the door and unlocked it. "Hi Major."

"Alphonse Elric! Have you seen where Dusky is!?" He asked loudly, and I groaned from inside the armor.

"N-No! Maybe she's at Central Command?" Al said nervously.

"I was going to check there next! If you see her, can you pass a message on for me!?" He asked, and Al nodded. "Tell her that the Colonel wants to see her for a new assignment!" He said, closing the door. I sighed, and got out of Al.

"Thanks." I said, and he nodded.

"It's fine. That's what friends do for each other, right? Let one person hide inside of the other's hollow metal body." Al said, sounding a little sarcastic. I smiled broadly, my face lighting up.
