Michael is going to prison, Dorothy is dead. He still sends her letters every Sunday, but now there's a reason why she doesn't answer them. Michael's gone insane, but he still loves his Dorothy.
((Basically Michael killed his girlfriend with an old yellow brick from outside their house that used to be a road to their garden. Wizard of Oz stuff pretty much.))
