Chapter 16| Returning Favors

Let's not count the stars, he said.
It's uncertain. You don't know how many of them were there yesterday nor you have no predictable pattern to know how many of them will there be tomorrow. The present, that is, what's important and the rest are trivial.

The past days without him don't matter anymore. Because as he said before, it doesn't matter how many stars they have passed to allude back to yesterdays. The thoughts of future years without him don't bother him anymore because he has no knowledge of being able to predict how many stars they will pass across for tomorrows.

The present, it is, is what's important for him right now. It doesn't matter how many stars the night holds when he owns the whole sky.

"I love you Nana"

"I know..and thank you for being in love with me"

"Do you want to live with me? I won't force you. I just want us to be together again" Jeno suggests calmly although his heart is beating too loud and the cute body on his chest is secretly listening to them. Actually, he isn't okay to be in this position, being this close to Jaemin and getting teased every single moment.

The thing is, they aren't just cutely cuddling on Jaemin's bed after the dinner. Jaemin isn't just innocently resting down on Jeno's chest. He is actually tracing the line of muscles on Jeno's stomach over the sweater. He really wants to let out a voice but he's already expressing his current feeling by letting out loud breathing.

"Nana..baby.." he catches the sneaky hand going slightly further down than what Jeno expected and he has to stop before anything happens.

"Hm?" He dreamily looks up, eyes cover in emotions that have nothing close to being innocent. Jeno's breathing paces up even more just by that look.

"J-Jeno..will you?" He bites his lips softly and sits up, trying to hover over Jeno.

"Baby.. you haven't recover yet"

"Then...can I at least get your treatment?" Jeno's ears perk up to the request. He was so used to of not hearing that for a long time that the request makes him feel some type of warmth.

"Are you sure Nana? But you will be in pain either way. I don't want to do that to you when you are still hurt Nana. I can wait."

"No!..p-please?"

He lies down flatly on Jeno's body and smiles cutely. Jeno watches him with awe but he is willing to control himself.

"Nana..you know you can win me over with that smile everytime but I don't want to give in."

He pouts and sulks as he climbs down from Jeno's body and turns around to face the other way from Jeno.

"Oh so this is how you show me that you are mad about this Nana?" He teases and hugs the body from behind until he's in his chest.

"Hmph.." he sounds out softly, but loud enough so Jeno can hear.

"I was thinking of probably giving a goodnight kiss but I guess not"

Jaemin shows his interest to what Jeno said by moving his head slightly. He wishes he could turn his body but Jeno's arm presses him down strongly to remain still.

He yawns loudly and intentionally just to tease Jaemin more.

"Alright Nana.. I am going to sleep. The left eye is closing..now the right"

"Jeno! Stop teasing me! At least kiss me..please"

In a split second, Jaemin's body has been turned completely flat facing up to the large body on top of him.
