"You can eat now!"

Mark nervously announces and Haechan immediately picks up his chopsticks. Full of expectations, Haechan first takes a piece of the fired meat and without hesitation, he puts it in his mouth.

Mark gulps, waiting and anticipating for a good result. He knows his stomach is making him sick and panic about how Haechan would react.

Mark would admit without a lie that the nervousness right now is more than his first ever audition when he was ten years old.

Haechan does not even spare a minute as he chews the meat and picks up the rice afterward. Mark carefully observes with his big round eyes to see if the taste is fine.

He tasted it himself at first. It was edible but then tasted too blend. He felt terrible for making Haechan wait for the entire morning and then giving him tasteless foods.

Even though Mark is having a talk with his inner self and being so worried, Haechan is actually enjoying the food. He took another one and put it in his mouth.

Mark looks at him, amused.

"What? Why are you not eating?"

Only then he starts to pick up his chopsticks and remembers to dig in.

"How does it taste?"

"Better than I expected" haechan replies honestly.

When Mark was cooking, he saw how chaotic the kitchen was and he wasn't expecting this good. One thing for sure was that Mark doesn't look like he's so used to with cooking.

"Sorry..I am used to with eating what my manager hyung gives me"

Right on spot! Haechan thought.

"That's fine. You did well"
He simply compliments.

Mark smiles back and happily enjoys his food like a child.

He thought the food was bad. But as soon as Haechan said it was fine, he also decided that the food was fine.

Mark and Haechan finish their food quietly. They ate most of the dishes Mark made and the idol was more than happy to see Haechan enjoyed his food.

"Thank you for this Markeu hyung"
He says after finishing off the glass of water.

"Actually..thank you for showing up. I really didn't expect that"

"Then.. let me do the dishes..since you made us food" haechan offers while standing up. Mark follows and stops him.

"No that's totally fine! I will do it! You can go and chill on the couch."

"But hyung..that's boring. Let me work too" he suggests with a sulk.

Mark's lips curl up, showing that he's satisfied from getting this reaction.

"Then..we can do the dishes together"

Haechan nods to the idea.

"Hey baby"

Jeno's face immediately changes from a stoic look to a bright afternoon puppy face when he hears the adorable soft voice from the other line.

"Honeybear, how long are you going to leave me alone?" The sulky voice makes Jeno to chuckle. He loves babying his Nana way to much.

"Is my baby mad because I left you?"

"Im hmm..." a sad voice replies.
