Kai's POV

The next day Hades and I woke up at noon. Our new home was still quite dusty and not really suitable for living. In fact the whole alley needed a lot of work. So as soon as we had showered and transfigured our clothes into something more presentable we journeyed to Gringotts. It was during lunch so all of Diagon was bustling with people. By the time we made it through the crowd it was already one. Gringotts was a lot less crowded than the alley itself. We nodded in respect to the goblins guarding the door causing them to look at us with confusion but they nodded in return. When we entered we slipped through the crowd and to an empty teller. "Greetings, Sir Goblin. My brother and I would like to request an inheritance and lineage test." I softly spoke in their native language while bowing. The goblin teller looked surprised and motioned for us to follow. The next thing I knew we were being seated in front of the leader of the goblins himself. "Hello young wizards, my name is Dragonsbreath and this is Steelfang." He said before motioning to the teller who led us here. I looked to Hades hoping he would take over the rest of this boring day but he simply smiled encouragingly. I sighed before facing forward again. "Sir as I have told Mr. Steelfang we would like both an inheritance and lineage test." The goblin nodded and Steelfang arranged four potions into separate bowls while Dragonsbreath brought out parchment and two small needles. "This green potion is for lineage and it will also show any spells, compulsions, or blocks put on you. The silvery blue one is for your inheritance. Please prick your finger and let three drops of blood fall into each potion." We immediately complied and watched as parchment was put folded and put into each potion. Soon two documents appeared before each of us. "According to this you too are descended from all four founders, Merlin, a number of other powerful wizards. You have 20 different vaults and over a hundred properties including Scarslin Alley. You both also have blocks placed on you. It would also seem that you two will be receiving a creature inheritance when you reach 16. Due to the fact you have so many creatures in your ancestry it is impossible to predict what you will become. Would you like us to combine some of your vaults to make them easier to manage?" Both Hades and I nodded. When everything was put in order we got theft proof cards linked to each of our now 5 vaults. We also commissioned 12 house elves to help restore the alley. One of them, Rue, accompanied us as we purchased clothes, food, potion equipment, books and anything else we need for our new home. By dinner our home was complete. Our bedrooms were set up and every room was fully furnished. We had placed bookcases in the studies, sitting rooms, and den. Both libraries and all bookcases were fully stocked. Even our dungeon was completely cleaned and restored. Hades called on Azrael to discuss our future plans during dinner. Our elves had out done themselves. We had freed all of them shortly after getting home and they all swore to remain with us and never betray us. They are all now properly clothed and magical bound to us. Azrael sat down and began to eat with us. "Now that your home is finished, I expect you will be moving on to the rest of the alley. I also would like to begin teaching you everything there is to know about this world and magic. I don't think you two will have time to go to Hogwarts anytime soon." We nodded. "I wanted to make sure we are able to protect ourselves completely before we step into Hogwarts at all. By the way what year is Tom Riddle in or is he in school yet?" "Tom Riddle is currently 12 and is attending his second year of Hogwarts." Wow, I didn't think he would be so much older than us. I thought to myself. Yeah, neither did I. My head snapped in my brother's direction. Twin mind link?? Hades looked at me frowning. Yeah, I think so. I grinned at him, before turning back to Azrael. "We need to get him out of that orphanage. I will owl Dragonsbreath to see if he can arrange for one of our house elves to pick him up at the end of the year. I think he will enjoy living in one of the cottages near the sea." "I was actually thinking he should stay at Primrose Cottage. It's within walking distance of a giant lake and surrounded by a beautiful meadow and forest." Hades raised his eyebrow at my comment. "We do have a stable there that would require us to visit often. Are you afraid he will be lonely?" I nodded. "That's settled then. The school year will be ending in two weeks. I'll write the letter, you make sure everything is ready for him." I smiled at my brother before collecting our elf Bingley and heading to the cottage. When I arrived I stock the library and potions room. We completely renovated the gardens and greenhouse. The house had three bedrooms all with different color schemes. We made the master bedroom match the Slytherin house colors. The room had three green walls and one grey accent wall. The bed was a mixture of black and grey and the floor was a dark hardwood with a soft green carpet. The other rooms were made to fit mine and Hades taste. His room had a red and black color scheme and mine was blue and black. By the time the house was finished it was almost midnight. I decided to spend the night at the cottage. Before I went to sleep though I had Bingley sneak into Hogwarts and find out Tom's sizes so his closet would be completely stocked when he arrived. I hope he likes it. I thought before sleep enveloped me in it's welcoming arms.
