The kids ward

Kevins PoV
"Hey Taylor bud want me to tell you about my dad." He nodded and we went over to a little sofa in the corner. "So my dad wasn't very nice to me neither. He hurt me and my sister. When I was little I went to school with stacey and all the pro dancers. My daddy wasn't very happy neither when I was dancing. My mummy left and he was really mean to us but now I'm doing exactly what I want. Your life will change little man I promise. Now what do you want to do? Want go learn how to dance?" He shook his head. "What do you normally do." "Just think sir." "Honestly mate call me kev. I prefer that anyway." He nodded. "So what do you think about Taylor." "What will happen when I have to go to the orfanige." "You should get adopted by a really nice family and they'll love you and let you dance and then you'll be in strictly and you'll win if that's what you want to happen." He nodded excitedly. "Wanna have a go at a dance." "What if they laugh at me?" "Who bud?" "The big boys." "They won't and if they do they have me to deal with right. Now let's see how good of a dancer you are." I picked him up and put him on my shoulders. "Weee." He laughed. Stacey looked at me. "Kev where's Taylor." "Look up." "Oh my god your taller that alijaz. And that means your very tall." He laughed. I gently put him down. Stacey pulled me to one side. "You really miss lils don't you. You can tell. I think you should adopt him kev. He loves you. While you were talking to him the nurse pulled me and said that he never talks to anyone. Ever. Not even the nurses or the other kids." "Really?" "Really. You need a kid round the house kev. Your different now that Lilia isnt there." "Ye I think I'll ask one of the nurses you know and see if there's anything I can do. The kid is an alright dancer as well." He was in perfect frame and his footwork was second to none. I went off to find one of the nurses. "Hey um Lisa." "Ye kev. Everything alright with the kids." "Ye I Umm wanted to ask something actually about Taylor." "Oh yeah. He's taken a liking to you. He never ever talks to anyone and you met him what half an hour ago." "Ye ummm I was just wondering. Is he going up for adoption. Like at an adoption agency or anything." "Umm ye we are putting him up for adoption but we can't let him go to the orphanage because of his trust issues." "Right about that. I want to adopt him. I love this kid already. He is just amazing and his dancing is better than Neils." "I heard that kev." "Shut up neil." Taylor ran up to me and I picked him up. "What's up bud." "What they doing with there hands." He clapped. "They were clapping dude. You never seen it?" He shook his head. "I think you need to get used to it with how good your dancing is. You could replace neil on strictly." He laughed and neil looked at me. "Ok maybe not replace neil but you could definitely join. I would let you anyway." He smiled. "How about you go and get to know stacey because she's really nice. She helped me as a kid." He nodded so I put him down and he ran off to stacey. "I will see what the head nurse says. Just safety policies and that but I think you should be able to." "Cheers Lisa." I walked back and everyone was laughing. "What you all laughing at?" Neil looked at his feet and tried not to laugh. "Neil what have you done? What have you told them?" "He phones your sister and she said she is coming to tell us some funny stories about you and she is brining aj." Taylor said. "Well at least I can trust somebody here." I gave him a high five. Just then Joanne and aj walked through the door. "One kev why the hell are you here and two hi kids." "Well Lucy came back and drugged me but I'm good and because we have some little fans." "So should I be worried or no?" I shook my head and she relaxed a little. Taylor stood behind me. "Hi everyone." "Hello." They all chorused back. Taylor didn't speak. So he really was shy. "What's up bud." "Tired and scared." I picked him up. "Go to sleep if you want. They won't mind." He slowly fell asleep on my shoulder. "So this man here at prom when we were little thought it would be a good idea for him to dance on tables and get us kicked out of the club." "Cheers Joanne." She smiled at me and I put my arm around stacey. A nurse came round. "Right kids nap time. They might come back later or tomorrow." "Ye we'll definitely come back soon." I helped the nurse take the kids to bed. I put Taylor in his and he woke up. He was panicking. "Hey it's ok it's ok." I pulled him into a hug and he calmed down. He laid back down and fell back asleep. "Kev word. You can adopt him. If you want you can sign the papers tomorrow." "Ye ye I will. So when am I going do you know or?" "Umm we want to try get the discharge papers done today but if not then definitely tomorrow." "Ok." I went over to stacey and my grin must have been noticed.
Staceys PoV
Kev walked back over with the biggest smile on his face. He had just put the kids to bed for a nap and then had been to talk to Lisa. "Why you so happy kev? Stacey said she'll give you a bj." "Shut up neil. If your that bothered go to katya." Well that shut him up. "Anyway why you so happy baby." "Because they said I can." "Really?" I gave him a hug. "What you on about." "So he nurses said that normally Taylor doesn't talk to anyone but obviously he's talking to kev. They said that he has really taken a liking to kev so he asked them if he could adopt him. So I'm guessing they said yes?" I looked at him and he nodded. "Why are you adopting if you can have one naturally?" "Because I just felt like a kinda spark I guess. We just like clicked and I know what he's been through." The all looked at me  understandingly. I was going to have a kid again and a little boy. I was going to protect him with all my heart and soul.
