Chapter Thirty Five: Brooke

Seeing as we both sorted out the house, it didn't take us that long.

When we were done, I told Sam I was going to get ready, at it was already 1:30 in the afternoon.

Wow! Times flies when you're having fun, huh? Not.

I grab some black leggings and a hoodie then make my way into the bathroom, running myself a bath.

The smell of vanilla and a scent of orange fills the room, calming me instantly.

I lower myself into the tub and lay there, savouring the warmth.

My eyes start to drift, and before I know it, I'm asleep.

----------------------------------------

"Brooke!" A voice shouts to me.

"Leave me alone." I mumble, eyes still closed.

Warmth surrounds me, which is very unusual. As I always get a draught when sleeping but this time, I didn't.

"Brooke! Answer me!" A clearer voice shouts through the door.

I groan.
"Nooooooo" I drag out.

Next thing I know, the door is being burst open, and my eyes fly open.

A pissed off Sam stand in the broken doorway.
"What on Earth!" I scream, shocked.

He looks breathless, and has fear in his eyes.
"What are you doing?!" I snap, realising I'm still in the bath, naked, might I add, and he's in the same room.

He seems to notice this, and his eyes instantly look South.

Rude.

I cover myself up as much as I can. "Eyes are up here!" I scold.

His eyes shoot up again. "Right, s-sorry. C-carry on." He mumbles, trying as best as he could to close the door again.

I finish washing myself up and step out, wrapping myself in a small fluffy towel.

Jesus!!

How small does this guy want his towels. It like literally ended mid-thigh.

I open the door, trying to keep hold of my towel as I nudge open the door.

I see Sam sitting on the corner of his bed, elbows braised on his knees.
He looks up at my entrance, and tries as best as possible to keep his eyes on my face.

"Well?" I say expectantly. My hand going to my hip and sticking it out.

He seems to open and close his mouth a few times, mimicking a fish.
"I-I'm sorry. I panicked." He apologises.

I raise my eyebrows.
He just panicked?!

"Why would you panic?" I question, "you knew I was in the bath!!"

He looks at me like I'd grown an extra head. "You were in there for over an hour!! I had the right to panic." He exaggerates.

I scoff, "oh come on! There is no way I was in there for over 1 hour!" I deny.

I make my way over to the fireplace and pick up my phone.

It's 2:39pm.

Jesus he's right.
