As i boosted to my new friends how mature i was a voice came shrieking into my room "Honey,please do not forget to watch the 'Mr Teddy's show' with your seven year old brother Rodney. Im going to the mall to get some supplies ." I was really humiliated and my friends burst out into a huge laughter "At sixteen you still watch The Mr Teddy's show,hahaha"
said Danny as he engraved himself in laughing. I ignored them and answered "Yes mum" To my suprise my mum was not done with humiliating me. She said once more "And do not forget to leave a note on the note board when you leave ok?" This made them burst even louder into laughter. Danny especially outdid himself. "Owh and Kevin..." my mum said a third time and before she was about to finish her statement, i rushed to the mp3 player and turned on the full volume. Thinking i had dodged my mums humiliation i took a breath of relief. I then looked at Nicki who blushed and smiled at her. She smiled back. She did not seem interested in laughing at me the way Danny had. Then someone opened the door. Thinking it was Rodney as usual i shouted "Rodney, leave us alone." My mum entered the room looked at me and turned off the mp3 player. She then said "Do not forget to pick up Rodney from Mrs. Jefferson's place".She kissed my forehead and finally went away. I stood glued to the ground saying to myself "What a way to show how mature i am"
