"SHE gotta name but everybody call her fine ass." I mumbled along to the music as I filed the girl in my chairs nail. "I swear ever since I learned to do extended tips that all I do."
"Yours look so natural, that's why." Deandra said.
"He so cute." Mocha said playing with her son.
"Thank you, he bad." Usually I didn't allow kids but he was a sweet boy and I know she'd been waiting for her appointment.
"Did you want the butterflies a specific color?" I asked her fixing my mask and turning in my chair to look through the acrylics.
"I want one to be dark blue in the inside but farther out I want it to be like baby blue and one pink with the same look as the blue." I nodded. "I'm sorry if that's a lot."
"No I get it, I was thinking I could also do like a butterfly but it'll take the color of this acrylic already on your nails." I said lightly drawing a butterfly on a piece of paper towel. "Like this."
"Ooh yeah that sounds cute." I nodded grabbing the colors I'd need. "Mocha fix his mask on his face." I said noticing he'd pulled it down to eat his cookies I'd given him.
"Phone." her son said and I smiled at his little voice.
"I just wanna keep his cute butt forever." Mocha said pinching his fat cheeks.
"You gon bring his butt right back trust me." Deandra said making me laugh. "He act like this in public when we at home his butt is bad as hell."
"I refuse to believe that." Mocha said giving him her phone that was on YouTube.
"Believe it." she said.
"I like other people kids, like you can watch them but give them back when you tired of them." I said.
"I always raised kids from when I was the younger, I'm the oldest of four, I took on the mom role when I was like ten." Deandra said making me nod.
"Me too, I'm the oldest of seven, most of them old enough to take care of they self but Toots and I would spend our weekends taking care of my siblings when we were younger." Mocha said. "I think that's why I like kids so much."
"Trust me, her brothers and sisters is bad as hell." I said putting her hand in the uv lamp. "I snapped, sheesh."
I started cleaning off my surface and throwing away my trash looking at the clock on my wall seeing my next client would be here soon. "Mari put your shoes on."
"We go?" he asked making me frown as I switched her hand out.
"We gotta go get your haircut." she said. "You was just so excited about it now you sad?"
"We stay here?" he asked in his little voice.
"I'm finna cry, he so cute." Mocha said hugging him, she loved kids. "This literally my new friend."
