Gulf's P.O.V:

I opened the window and smiled.

The breeze was nice.

The sun was shinning.

It's already summer.

Another day in college is finally starting.

"Nong Gulf...Come down now breakfast is ready" P'Fasai said.

Some of you might ask where my parents are.

Well I'd say that it's not a pleasant story.

I have been living at this orphanage since I was probably ten years or so.

No one wanted to adopt me so khuan Fasai the orphanage chairwoman who knew my mother offered me to stay here instead of being thrown out to the streets.

I'm nineteen years so I've been living here for probably nine years now.

But in exchange for her kindness I offered to help with the chores such as cooking and cleaning and taking care of the other children.

I walked down stairs and was immediately greeted by a small pair of arms hugging my legs.

I smiled and ruffled the boy's hair.

"Sadie Cap P'Ulf" The little boy said smiling up at me.

"Sawadee Krap...Repeat after me... Sawadee...Krap" I said.

"Sadie Cap" He said laughing.

I chuckled and shook my head.

Well Nong Ae is still learning.

I picked him up and started walking downstairs.

"Good morning Khuan" I said.

She smiled and I let go of Nong Ae who ran off to play with his other friends then I followed Khuan Fasai to the kitchen.

"You've grown Nong Gulf...It's already your nineteenth birthday" She said smiling and ruffling my hair.

"Khuan I'm not a baby" I said whinning.

"Nonsense you have always been a baby" She said folding her hands over her chest.

"I will never win this game" I said huffing then grabbed a big spoon and started distributing the food.

After a few minutes I was finally done eating.

"I'm off to college" I said.

"Stay out of trouble ok?" She asked.

"Alright" I said.

Then I started walking to the bus stop.

I managed to keep the fact that I'm an orphan a secret from my classmates but of course the college head knows.

Khuan Fasai helped me with the first year tuition fees but I don't want to pressure her.

That's why I've been planning on getting a part time job or something.
