A Glitch In Time

2 Still Tuesday

Beep beep, beep beep, I hear my alarm and I'm on the floor again. I got up to exercise a little but I had to stop because my bones were aching badly, even worse than yesterday so I just brush my teeth and bath.

ed that my dad had probably gotten here so when I'm done dressing up I rush downstairs hoping to see him and my mom but when I got there, I didn't see anyone. I checked all the rooms but there was no sign that anyone was at home

I was both disappointed and confused that nobody was there, and that nobody told me anything about it.

I stopped stressing about it and started making my favorite cereal, frosties, when I was about to leave, I remembered what happened yesterday with Jeff, it's a shame that I wouldn't be able to run because of my bruised ankle, I'm not even sure how I bruised it.

I make my way out the door and start going to school then I see my friends again in front of their houses, dressed the same as yesterday.
"Hi j" they told me

Then Danielle put her hands at my mouth like a microphone again and asked "so tell us how you feel about the fight today"

"I feel that was lucky yesterday because of David's great idea"

"What great idea"? David asked looking confused

"You know, you told your brother to pick us up after detention" I told them but now he and Danielle looked more confused.

"James" Danielle started"yester-
day was when you were helping miss Martinez with the files and you helped that kid that Jeff was picking on"

"What, no, no that was two days ago, that was on monday and today is Wednesday, yesterday was Tuesday"

"I don't know what you're thinking but this is Tuesday 14th of may"David said
I start getting a sense of unreality, it felt like I things were not real, and I start having deja Vu, and I start feeling dizzy

"Guys I'm getting scared, I clearly remember yesterday being tuesday" I say

"Don't be, I forget a lot of things too"David tells me patting my back

"But this is different, I remember everything that happened yesterday"

"Maybe you just need to get some rest, just take a break from school, go home and unwind, we'll join you after school, okay"
Danielle suggested

"That sounds good" I said even though I don't like skipping school.

"Well bye"

"Bye"

I head back home thinking about everything. I really wish I had my brother here to talk to but he is at France for college.

I lie on my bed and check the time on the wall clock and it says 8:15. I guess I could nap for an hour or two, so I put my head down and when I wake up it's 12:48, wow I must have been really tired

I get hungry so I go downstairs for some snacks, one good thing about my house is that there is always snacks.

I pick up a bowl of my favourite ice cream strawberry and the best topping chocolate chips and another bowl of my second favourite Rocky road. I also pick up a lot of Skittles, I bring a lot of cookies and lastly, two bottles of Sprite.

I put them in a bag and take it to my room. I take my time to build a magnificent fort with some bed sheets and duvet and turn on Netflix on my television then I gather the snacks, which would satisfy me for about two hours, and start selecting what I would watch, I see a movie called
' happy death day ' and the trailer looked good so I select it, sit back and watch.

4:15: I just watched happy death day one and two and I hear someone knocking on the door outside, I open it and see my friends

"Help yourselves to snacks in the freezer and you can join me upstairs"

"No problem" David said hungrily, I'm sure he ate at home before coming but he's always hungry.

Upstairs the door opened and they came in with a lot of snacks in their hands

"Ooh homey" Danielle said when she saw the fort

"Now look, I put my soul into this so if you break it I'll have to break your soul"

"That sounds like a threat" David said

"does it"? I answer

"Alright jeez"David said

Danielle was busy selecting some thing to watch

"How does Avengers end game sound" she finally said

"Nah already watched it" I said

"Okay how about Frozen 2"

"Again, already watched that"

"Well then how would you like Spider-Man far from home"

"I've watched almost all the 2019 movies you can think of"

"Jeez well how about series

"What sort of series"

"The Flash"

"Nah"

"Lois and Clark"

" Not in the mood"

"Starwars"

"Perfect"

" I want a say in this" David said

"Well what do you want"

"Yeah starwars is fine"he said

"Alright, well into the fort"I said

6:36

"We should get going Dan it's past 6:30"

"Why does time have to fly so fast" Danielle whined

"Wait, we never found out why I felt that I had lived today again"

"Oh yeah" Danielle said "I don't know what went wrong with you but you should get some sleep then we'll see tomorrow.

"Okay" I said and escorted them downstairs

"SpongeBob is way more powerful than Thor, the dude is indestructible" David said

"I can't believe we're arguing about this right now" Danielle stated

They had been arguing all the way down the stairs about who is stronger between Thor and SpongeBob and I didn't even realize, I was just too confused about what happened.

"You okay" David said

"Yeah I'm fine"

"Okay then see you later"

"Bye"

"Oh and don't forget to get some sleep"Danielle reminded me

"Will not"

Once they had left I went into the kitchen and cooked some spaghetti and sausages, not to brag but I am an excellent chef, both in my opinion and in the opinions of others. The spaghetti was very tasty. After eating it, I went to my room.
I remembered that my mom had not gotten home so I went downstairs to unlock the door and went back upstairs then I realized that the reason my dad had not come home was because he was supposed to come on Wednesday but since I never got to Wednesday he didn't come.

I yawned because I did not feel rested at all, the tiredness I felt from the other Tuesday didn't go away, so I just slept off.
