CHAPTER 17: No Luck

Shigaraki's POV:

I think to myself.

*This device feeds on the sorrow in people's hearts and the despair they feel. Seeing just how weak there heroes really are will make sure I'll win no matter what.*

Bakugou's POV:

"You idiot! What was the point of making a plan if we're not going to use it?"

I use my explosive magic to destroy the Nomu coming from infront of me. When a Nomu is about to attack our blind spot. Kiri uses his hardening magic to shield us. Icyhot blasts enemies from a distance. While Deku heals us with his spiritual magic.

"Kacchan can you get past these guys and break the staff? It seems to be making more Nomu."

"If I could then I would've already done that by now."

"Quit resisting so your deaths can make me an army of Nomu!"

By this point we're running low on magic. Kiri falls to the ground from exostion.

"I'm sorry big bro. My magic is gone."

The moment I dropped my guard was the moment a Nomu was about to stab me. However Icyhot shields us in an ice dome before collapsing. That's when I felt my body giving out. Deku walks over to me and restores my strength. When I look at Deku's hands. I see blood from where he's been coughing. He's beyond his magical limits ,and is using his own lifeforce to heal us for awhile now.

"Deku stop. This kingdom needs a king and you're the only one who can do that."

" I don't care about being king. I just want to save the people from the horror that's king Shigaraki. I'll gladly give my life if that's what it takes."

A few moments later. The Nomu start vanishing. Then the people start cheering us on.

"Don't give up!"
"Stand strong! "
"We believe in you!"

Once the Nomu were gone. I used the last of my strength to blast towards the staff. Shredding it upon impact.

"NO IMPOSSIBLE! THIS WASN'T SUPPOSED TO HAPPEN!"

Shigaraki goes to grab my head but he stops when he feels a strong magic presence behind him. Deku's sword was glowing gold.

"Your rain of terror ends right here. Right now. Spiritual SLAAAASH!"

Deku's blade cuts straight down Shigaraki's body. Instead of blood. Dark Magic poors from his body. His hair goes from blue to black. Then his body starts to decay.

"Thank you for freeing me. Be careful Midoriya. His plan is only just begun."

"Who's plan?"

" Kur...o...giri."

Deku collapses from exostion and so do I after Shigaraki is gone.
