"There is a ball next week" Stephen says as Hosuh comes in with his lunch.
"E-Excuse me?" Hosuh asks, wondering why Prince Stephen would be telling him this.
"There. Is. A. ball. Next. Week" Stephen repeats, annoyance dripping from his voice.
Hosuh gulps, the hairs on the back of his neck stood and his legs began to shake. Stephen was scary.
"O-okay? Have fun.."Hosuh says, setting the tray on his night stand before he dropped it.
"What?" Stephen says, giving Hosuh a weird look. "Fun is the least of what it will be...well maybe." Stephen looks Hosuh up and down and says "you're coming with."
Hosuh freezes. He's never even been a server at the past balls. They've had plenty, King Dan wanting his sons to find the one to marry.
Hosuh points to himself and gives Stephen a look of disbelieve. He couldn't go! He didn't even know how to dance.
"M-Me?" Hosuh says, mouth agape.
"Did I stutter? You are my personal servant. Therefore you will go, aid my needs and stay by my side" Stephen says, eating his lunch, giving Hosuh a look that made him feel dumb..
Hosuh face turns scarlet red in embarrassment "w-will I need to dance?" He asks looking to his feet.
Well of course you will! Everyone at the ball has to dance even servants have to at this one. Which I find stupid" Stephen huffed at the last part.
Hosuh found it weird that the servants were going to be dancing. However this might of been for the princes reputation.
Hosuh looks down shamefully, playing with his fingers. "I-...I um...I don't exactly know how to dance?"Hosuh looks down shamefully, playing with his fingers. "I-...I um...I don't exactly know how to dance?"
Hosuh felt hurt by this statement, however he supposed it was true. He only got a few years of schooling as a child before he was pulled out due to not having enough money.
The rest of the things he was taught were from his parents or servants here at the palace.
"hey!" Stephens cold voice interrupting Hosuhs thoughts and pulling him out of the day dream he got into.
Hosuh jumps back, finding Stephen was right in his face. "W-what?" Hosuh says in a quiet voice, shocked.
Stephen scoffs "agh at least listen to me servant. I said I suppose I should teach you."
Stephen walks over to a fancy record player that sat on a table in the corner of his room, flipping it on. Classical music filled the room as he walked back over to Hosuh.
Stephens eyes soften, looking at the nervous shorter boy. He lets out a chuckle, holding out his hands. "May I have this dance Hosuh?"
Hosuh reaches out, taking Stephens hands.
(Stephens POV- for the first time in forever~)
I take Hosuh's hands in mine, holding one of his hands up and my other hand dropped grabbing his waist, leaving him to put his free hand on my shoulder.
We start dancing, me obviously taking the lead. He was terrible. He ended up stepping on my feet every few minutes, tripping and mumbling sorrys.
Although it was rather annoying, I forgave him because he was to cute to stay mad at.
The music fades out and I end the dance dipping him back. Our faces inches apart, making his light up like a Christmas tree.
I pull back, clearing my throat "you're getting the hang of it."
he groans, hiding his face in his hands. "Agh...no I'm not I'm terrible! Do I have to go?"
I glare at the smaller male. "Yes you do. I said you're getting the hang of it." I say going forward and grabbing his hands, pulling them away from his face.
he gives me am unsure look before huffing and looking down "o-okay..." He try's pulling his hands back but I continued to hold them.I grin and pull them above his head, pinning him against the wall. "You're fun to tease servant" I say as he squirmed in my grasp.
Right at that moment my door was blast open, making my eyes widen as I back off of the servant, turning to see who barged in.
