"Well....they're right" Joe says sighing before replacing his face with a smile, not wanting to stress his friend.
"Y-yeah..." Hosuh says, giving him the best smile he could muster back.
"Oh come on" joe says, rolling his eyes and grabbing hosuh. Dragging him out of the kitchen.
Joe drags Housh out to the gardens, it was a nice view. Roses, Tulips, Daisys, Irises, Lilacs, and all sorts of herbs.
Besides a few Servants tending the flowers, and the guards by the gardens doors it was a pretty empty that afternoon.
Hosuh smiles seeing a familiar brown head up ahead by the Lilacs" James!" He says running over, taking James in a hug.
James was a guard, one of Hosuhs and Joes friends at the palace. He used to work as a servant but got 'upgraded'.
"Hey Hos and Joe! Long time no see" James says hugging Hosuh back. Joe laughs and runs after Hosuh.
"Hey...oh Um hey to you too. I don't think I've seen you before " Joe says, catching eye of the pink haired girl who stood beside James.
( not Ann, but Ann will be added ^^)
Hosuh looks beside James and smiled politely at the girl. The girl had pink hair that fell behind her back, had blue eyes and was wearing a guards uniform.
"Oh, guys meet Mya! She's a newer guard here, I was just showing her around" James says and Mya waves.
"H-hi" she said shyly and Joe shook her hand.
"It was nice seeing you guys, We better be off to the training grounds though" James says.
"Okay, we should hang out soon" Hosuh said to Mya and James.
"I'd like that" Mya says with a smile and James nods then drags the girl off blabbing about something.
time skip
The two boys finished their walk in the garden and Joe decided that they should have a dinner picnic in the forest.
The palace had a fenced in place of woods, it was pretty big and servants were allowed back there only sometimes.
The princes were allowed back there with a guard present with them. Hosuh shivered thinking of how pissed Stephen would be. Well maybe.
"Okay! Come on Hos" Joe says grabbing Hosuhs hand as the began to make their way to the Back woods.
Housh let's out a giggle as they reach the edge of the woods. Joe smiles at the boy as they make their way through the woods.
A nice stroll, filled with chatter, laughter and....hand holding.
Eventually they reach a cleaning. It was a field full of Water lilies with a medium sized pound that shone with the moon and star light.
It was just turning night, leaving the sky a purple and light blue art price. Hosuh wanted to paint it. It was a beautiful night.
Joe set up the picnic and Hosuh took in the view. He set up the blanket, food, candles and drinks.
time skip
Hosuh sighed contently as he laid down beside Joe on the blanket, looking up at the stars.
Joe reaches over and locks there hands together. Something they've been doing a lot lately. It confused Hosuh but he didn't want to make a deal out of it.
They held hands and continued on with there nights.
Joe rolls over facing Hosuh and Hosuh does the same seeing his actions.
"What's wrong?" Hosuh asks Joe after a moment of silence with hem just looking at each other.
Joe leaned in slightly and out of instinct Hosuhs eyes closed. Hosuh could feel Joes breath on his face.
Realizing what was about to happen Hosuhs eyes snap open and he quickly gets up "W-We should be heading back"
"Y-yeah we should" Joe says beginning to pack the things up.
Hosuh felt something fall on his face as he stood looking at the pond, it starts down pouring. He lets out a laugh as he helps Joe quickly pack up their things.
He tries to walk forward but ends up slipping on his butt making him and Joe laugh more. Hosuh reaches down and takes off his shoes.
{Hosuhs POV}
I reach down and take off my shoes, holding them in my hand.
My hair and clothes were already soaked, so were Joes. He holds out his hand and I happily take it as thunder and lighting starts.
It was so nice not so long ago.
We rain our way back to the palace, my feet squishing into the mud.
I let out a giggle as we hold hands running. Today was fun. Minus the part of almost being kissed...
We make it to the palace, still laughing. After our laughing died down I let out a sneeze as I began to shiver.
He winced "I'm sorry Hosuh, here take this" joe says as he reaches in the bag and hands me his jacket.
I giggle as I take it from him "T-Thanks Joe...I had fun"
We say our goodbyes and go to our rooms. As soon as I'm outside my door I feel something is wrong.
I open the door and gasp as I see a purple haired prince sitting on my bed. And he was pissed.
