"Ichiraku's will always have the best ramen on the planet!" I yelled happily as I rubbed my belly which carried a food baby.

We were walking back to my apartment, hand in hand, enjoying our time together as we talked.

"It's not the best in the universe?" He asked jokingly with a chuckle.

"Hmm...I dunno, I don't think I can judge until I've eaten alien ramen, but for now, Ichiraku's has the best human ramen in the universe," I replied seriously.

He squeezed my hand as he smiled at me with a laugh. "You're ridiculous."

I smiled back at him and rested my head on his shoulder as we continued to stroll down the starlit street.

"Sasuke," I said as we approached my apartment stairs, "Do you think we'll ever be the way we were before?"

He sighed before answering my question: "What kind of stupid question is that? Of course, it won't be like before."

Geez, that was harsh...

I was bothered by his answer to my question, and out of pettiness I let go of his hand and crossed my arms with a pout. "Then why'd you even bother asking me out if you don't think we're gonna be happy like before..."

He suddenly stopped walking up the stairs, causing me to stop as well in confusion. "Sasuke?"

He looked over at me and flicked my forehead with great force.

I yelled angrily as I covered my forehead from the pain: "What the hell, Sasuke?!"

"You're an idiot...The reason why I said it won't be like before is because it won't...It'll be better than before."

My heart skipped in my chest at his cheesy statement. "Idiot..." I whispered playfully.

He grabbed ahold of my hand, and we continued to go up the stairs together again.

"Naruko, everything's going to be better. I told you already, I want to do everything in order with you this second time around."

I pouted with a small frown as I looked at him, "Yeah, but what does that mean?"

He gave a mischievous smirk, sending chills down my spine. "Figure it out yourself, idiottt."

"You're such a jerk!" I yelled angrily.

We finally made it to the front of my apartment, and we stood in front of my door awkwardly.

"So...I guess this is goodbye," I said nervously.

He nodded his head and continued to stare at the ground.

It was awkward to be standing together at my doorway because that was where our story both began and ended.

The first time we stood at my doorway, we were rivals. The second time we were lovers. The third time we were unfortunately separated, and now, we were finally fortunately together again.

"Naruko..."

I heard him whisper my name as he looked at the ground nervously.

"Yeah...?"

I looked at him, anxiously waiting for him to say something. My heart was beating quickly, and I wanted him to be with me, spend the night and not let me go, but I didn't want to admit that out loud.

"I..." Sasuke began to scratch the back of his head nervously as he continue to look away from me. "I...Ugh! It's nothing, forget it!"

I blinked my eyes quickly at his sudden teenage outburst. I was now curious. "Wait what-?"
