"If you died tomorrow, the corner of the English class you always sit in would suddenly get a whole lot quieter without either your voice or the simple scratching of your pencil. The homeless man you once smiled at on the street near that coffee shop you visit would read about you in a newspaper he plucked off the road and he'd miss the way your eyes crinkled when you would grin. The girl who shops at the grocery store you work at because she secretly thinks you're cute would switch to the one down the road because you were the only reason she went there in the first place, and she would wonder where you went as she picked out her yogurt. Your sports coach would go to yell that it was your turn to play the field, only to find him blowing his whistle at an empty bench, and your music teacher would show up to your lesson, only to be left ringing notes of silence. Your phone would heat up, filled with texts and calls from people you know and people you don't, because you the reason someone laughs and you are the reason someone falls asleep with their lips curved upward. So if you ever believe that your presence doesn't matter, just remember that if you died tomorrow so many people would miss you, and I would miss you too."
