The Doctor stood by the console monitoring all of the devices when the console screen started to beep.

He spun it round and observed the alarming Gallifreyan writing.

Suddenly, a tower of electricity burst through the ceiling of the Tardis. It hit the Doctor and engulfed him.

The tower then rose up and out of the Tardis, taking the Doctor with it.

On the other side of the universe, the tower hit the stone ground released the Doctor and rose back up into the sky.

The Doctor groaned as he stared up at the fiery red sky.

He could hear faint explosions in the distance as he got to his feet.

Slowly he turned the corner and gasped at what he saw.

"The Kalid city," the Doctor saw a dead jungle opposite from him. "The Thal jungle. I'm on Skaro, how am I on Skaro. Who has the power to penetrate a Tardis and take someone out of it?"

"I do," the Doctor heard a deep voice from behind him so he slowly turned to see who brought him here.

A humanoid disguised with a black helmet with a clean black visor stood a few feet away from him holding a metal weapon.

"Who are you?" The Doctor stared at the city once more before turning to look back at him.

"You may know me as, the Rebel."

The tower of electricity returned to the Tardis console room and the Doctor was thrown out of it.

Gasping for air, he furiously ran around the Tardis. He set coordinates and as soon as the Tardis received them it shook itself to life and went in the other direction.

After about a minute, the central column slowly to a halt and the Doctor turned on the visualiser.

Outside the Tardis a planet was burning and exploding.

A tear fell from the Doctors eye. "Why?"

The Tardis was hit with a tidal wave of aftershock from the planets explosion.

Max ran in. "What the hell is going on in here?"

"A planet it being destroyed and we've been hit by the aftershock," the Doctor yelled as he barely hang on to the Tardis console. "Where's Stacy?"

"I dont know," Max sighed. "She hurried out of the room earlier."

"Okay," the Doctor bit his lip as the Tardis started to shake even more violently.

"Now what?" Max groaned.

"Someone's trying to transmat us away, I have the transmat coordinates. Let's just materialise there," the Doctor flipped a few levers and typed data into the Tardis computer.

In a darkened futuristic room, the Tardis slowly materialised.

The Doctor opened the doors and walked out followed by Daniel.

"Its a bit dark," Daniel squinted to see.

The open Tardis doors illuminated some features of the room but not many.

"Exploring without me," Stacy walked out of the doors and exchanged awkward eye contact with Max for a few seconds.

"Someone tried to transmat us here so I thought we could just mateirialise," the Doctor explained. "Its a lot faster."

A sudden squeal from the darkness startled the three of them.

"What was that?" Stacy asked.

"Probably just a mouse or something," Max theorised.

The Doctor pulled a torch out of his pocket and shone it in the direction of the squealing.

They then all heard a thud.

"I dont think a mouse is heavy enough to make a noise like that," Stacy bit her lip.

"Correct," the Doctor shone the torch at the culprit. "That is though."

A small fat Adipose jumped up and down flapping its little arms about. "Waaowah."

"Awh," Stacy put her hand on her heart as she bent down beside the Adispose. "What is it?"

"That is an Adipose," the Doctor bent down and picked it up. "I've only met them once before and that wasnt so pleasant, but I am listed as one of their- Accosiates.

"Accosiate of the Adipose, that's a cool job," Max smiled.

"Its not a job," the Doctor raised an eyebrow at Max as the Adipose started hugging his shoulder. "Now let's go outside and find a mothership, or a fathership."

"Or a parentship," Max joked.

"Maybe," the Doctor walked on.

"That's a thing?" Max followed him and Stacy.

The Doctor stopped beside the door and started to sonic it. "We'd better take this Adipose with us."

"Why?" Stacy asked. "We found him here, cant we just leave him?"

"No!" The Doctor exclaimed. "That's like finding a baby on the street and leaving it there."

The door opened to reveal a mothership flying over them.

"They must have traced our landing," the Doctor smiled as a transparent blue beam flashed down onto them.

"What's this for-" Stacy trailed off as they started levitating up to the ship.

The Adipose clung onto the Doctor for dear life as the Stacy and Max screamed with excitement.

As the Doctor floated up, flashbacks poured into his head and suddenly the rebel appeared in front of him.

* * *

"Who are you?" The Doctor stared at the city once more before turning to look back at him.

"You may know me as, the Rebel."

"Why have you brought me here?" The Doctor asked.

"You are known to the people of Skaro as the one true enemy of the Daleks," the Rebel explained. "I am the leader of the Thal Rebellion and we know that with Davros creating these new Recon Scout Daleks, and all of our spies in the Kalid Scientist Bases found out and dead. We have no chance, at beating the Daleks, but if we're going down, we are taking every last stinking Dalek down with us."

"And you want me to help?" The Doctor let out a sigh of disbelief.

"If you dont want to help I will transmat you right back to your ship but, Doctor, you are the one true enemy of the Daleks," the Rebel put his gloved hand on the Doctors shoulder. "Please help us."

"I can never refuse an ask for help, especially when it's that polite," a scream then filled the Doctors head bring him back to his senses.

It wasnt the rebels hand on the Doctors shoulder, it was the Adipose. He wasnt on Skaro, he was on an Adipose planet and he wasnt in the past, he was in the present.

* * *

"Doctor!" Stacy yelled looking up at the Adipose ship.

The blue levitation beam was flickering off.

"We're going to fall!" Max yelled.

"Waaah," the Adipise cried on his should as he pointed his sonic at the ship.

"Something is interfering with the levitation beam, another force on this planet," the Doctor yelled. "I'm trying to block the interference. It's too strong!"

"We're at least 50 feet high," Stacy screamed. "We'll die!"

"There's nothing I can do!" The Doctor yelled as the beam flashed off and they all fell.
