The Doctor's sonic screwdriver hummed as it scanned something a few metres away from them. "There." He continued to follow it with his sonic as it flew up and away into the sky.
"Why didnt you disrupt the invisibility field?" Max asked.
"I couldnt," the Doctor explained. "It was too strong."
Bang!
"What the hell was that!?" Max exclaimed.
"It came from the ship," the Doctor turned towards the ship as a missile flew over his head and hit something above them.
Another space ship slowly became visible above them.
"That is one big spaceship!" Max yelled.
"And I know who it belongs to," the Doctor gasped. "Come on we must get back to the ship."
* * *
"Four massive spaceships have appeared on the radar and one of them is moving towards us!" Stacy yelled.
"Get down," the Doctor yelled as he ran into the room. "Take cover."
"But why?" Stacy asked just before the walls exploded and the real enemies flew in.
"Exterminate," the Daleks chanted as they fired at the mother adipose.
"That's why," the Doctor said through gritted teeth.
The mother Adipose wailed as she swatted the Daleks away like flies.
"Prepare the ships stronger weapons!" A Dalek ordered before it was crushed by the mother.
"Quick let's get out of here," the Doctor told Stacy and Max as they ran down the corridor to the levitation beam.
"Located humanoids," a Daleks noticed them. "Pursue!"
"Where are we going?" Stacy asked as she dodged a lazer from the Daleks weapons.
"The levitation beam!" The Doctor yelled back to her.
"Surely that isnt safe," Max couldnt believe the Doctors plan.
"No it isnt, but it's our only way out."
They entered the chamber and the Doctor closed the door with his sonic.
"Now what?" Stacy asked.
"Do both of you trust me?" The Doctor asked them.
"Yes," Stacy nodded.
"Cant really not trust you now can I," Max rolled his eyes.
"On three, brace yourselves," the Doctor warned them. "1," he raised his sonic. "2," he fired a lazer at a control panel. "3."
The floor beneath them dissapeared and they fell down towards the ground.
"Doctor!" Stacy screamed as they fell closer and closer to the ground.
"A little longer," the Doctor muttered to himself.
"Do something!" Max joined Stacy in screaming.
"A little longer, and NOW!"
He fired his sonic up and turned the levitation beam on, just before they hit the ground.
It turned off almost instantly after they landed.
Zap!
A Dalek Saucer was firing a huge beam of light, somewhere at the top of the ship.
The Adipose baby peeked its head out of the Doctors pocket.
"What's that up there?" Max asked.
The Doctor picked up the Adipose in his pocket and hugged it.
"They're killing the Adipose mother," he sighed. "Let's get this little guy back to the ship and decide what to do from there."
"Good idea," Stacy agreed, taking one final look up at the Dalek beam before it stopped.
"Located the humanoids from the ship!" They saw a Dalek announce as it flew from the distance.
"Quick!" Max yelled. "Where's the building we landed in?"
"Over there," the Doctor pointed. "Come on let's go."
They all ran full speed towards the building as the Dalek gained speed on them. They entered the building and closed the door behind them fast.
Max opened the door to the Tardis and ran in followed by the Doctor and then Stacy who locked the door behind them.
The Doctor turned on the visualiser and the three of them watched as the Dalek broke in and saw the Tardis.
"Why is it just looking at us?" Max asked. "Its really creepy."
"Its probably sounding the red alert," the Doctor explained. "Everytime a Dalek sees the Tardis, or scans anything Time Lord, it sound a red alert."
Further memories returned from that explanation.
* * *
"We are detecting a Time Lord presence on Skaro's surface," a Dalek announced. "This is a red alert."
Daleks slid around the control room as the orange hexagonal panels on the walls flashed a dark shade of red.
"I repeat this is a red alert!"
* * *
"They know a Time Lord presence is on the planet," the Rebel told the Doctor after he had been with the rebellion for a few days. "They've called a red alert."
"They're panicking," the Doctor laughed. "This is the time to make an attack on the city. They're panicking, they're scared. That makes them vulnerable."
"A good idea," the Rebel agreed. "I'll gather the weapons, you gather the people."
"Got you," the Doctor nodded. "You know where the strategic point of attack is?"
"The left entrance," the Rebel remembered. "If we gain control over that area we have a clear path to the power core."
"And when we get the the power core?" The Doctor continued to test him.
"Overload it with the backup power and cause an explosion that destroys the whole of Skaro," the Rebel told the Doctor.
"Good, we're ready. Let's prepare for the attack!"
* * *
The sound of the cloister bells brought the Doctor back to his senses. "The cloisters," he gasped as he checked the Tardis monitor.
"What's that?" Stacy asked as a planet appeared on the Tardis monitor.
"Adipose 3," the Doctor bit his lip as four red dots appeared at differant ends of the planet.
"What are those dots?" Stacy continued to question.
"The Adipose Motherships," the Doctor gasped.
"Why are they all connected by those white lines?" Max asked.
"That is what I'm trying to figure out," the Doctor then realised. "Oh no!"
"What?" Stacy was worried.
"The Daleks are using the Adipose technolgy the pressurise and condense the planet," the Doctor explained. "The force contained in it would have the power to be used as an intergalactic bomb."
"A weapon of mass destruction," Max gasped.
"Indeed," the Doctor ran around the console and lifted the Tardis off. "And we have got to stop them before it's too late for us all."
