As I sat in my wheelchair I had an idea to get my baseball cap, I connected with Gizmo and communicated with her to get the hat for me. Right after I had transmitted this Gizmo zoomed out of her cage toward my hat and flew toward me, landing on my shoulder and fitting the cap on my head backward while securing it nice and tight. I smiled and broke the connection and looked at Harry and Ron, they were staring again and I could tell it was because of my abnormality. I pointed toward my stuff,
"Come on we got a train to catch!" and that seemed to snap them out of it. As we exited the house I looked back and wondered what would happen to my life at my private school? We got into a car and they had folded up my wheelchair after setting me down in the car and put it into the back trunk along with my other stuff. A couple of minutes later we had finally arrived at King's Cross station, as we got all my stuff out and settled me into the wheelchair we had started heading down to platforms 9 and 10. Harry had told me already earlier on how to get on platform 9 3/4. Ron was pushing my stuff and gone through first while Harry pushed me and the wheelchair in after him, as I emerged I could see the train parked at the station. It was truly beautiful, I had never seen anything like it before.
"Harry, are you or Ron gonna go with me on the train or are you guys gonna meet me there?" I asked them.
"We're gonna meet you there, after getting you into the train. My children, James, Albus, and Lily will meet you inside the train to assist and accompany you as you ride toward school." Harry replied.
"Ah look there they are now!" said Harry, waving toward another group of kids and a woman that I assumed was Harry's wife Ginny who he had told me about. The kids started heading our way, I saw that the two boys looked alike but one was definitely older and more annoying while the younger one was more calm looking. The girl looked smart enough. I don't know why but suddenly Gizmo had started hooting and I instinctively connected with her and I could see the kids stop and stare at my eyes out of my peripheral vision, but I ignored this and got Gizmo out of her cage and linked with her so I could see what had disturbed her so much. I got flashes of images of a certain boy looking in my direction, and I could already tell that he was up to no good. I disconnected with Gizmo and looked back at the kids that were originally running over, now they were standing near me next to Ron and Harry. They looked like they felt really awkward so I decided to break the ice.
"I think that we should get on the train now, you know before it leaves," I said, gesturing towards the train.
"Oh um yes, James help Axel here onto the train while Albus grabs his wheelchair, we'll grab the stuff," Harry said, snapping out of his daze. As we all scrambled onto the train I winced as I was set down a bit too roughly onto the chair, James, Albus, Lily and another boy who had come in behind us with blonde hair were also sitting in the cabin.
"Umm... So what year are you guys in?" I asked, trying to start up a conversation.
"Third" muttered James
"Second" announced both the blonde boy and Albus,
"I'm Scorpius, nice to meet you." I nodded. At least he was friendly.
"The first year for me" mumbled Lily. I looked at her and wondered what house she might be in. As the train started moving I could hear somebody walking towards our cabin door and I turned towards it waiting for whoever it was to knock. As James opened the door to whoever had knocked, a guy had immediately stepped inside and shoved him aside, I wished that I could get up and help but I couldn't due to my lack of available limbs. It was the boy from the station that Gizmo had a bad feeling about, as I drew my wand I searched my mind for spells because I had memorized multiple of them. I picked one and immediately pointed my wand at him.
"Petrificus Totalus!" I said as I pointed my wand towards the boy. His body immediately went rigid and he couldn't move. I leaned over my chair to look at him,
"Wow, I can't believe that actually worked," I said as I looked at him, I could clearly tell that he was very mad and would be strangling me right now if he could. I looked up to see James still on the ground staring at me,
"How did you do that spell?! That's a spell for third years!" James exclaimed, clearly shocked and confused. I stared at him in surprise,
"Wait, really? It isn't just an easy spell? But it was so simple for me to cast though." I asked. At that moment a voice spoke over magical speakers over the train,
"We are now approaching Hogwarts please get into your robes and gather your stuff."
This broke up whatever was happening and I had instructed James to drag the still petrified boy out of our cabin, and I had put my robes on over my clothes that I already was wearing and put my cap back on for good measures. The train finally stopped and I got a glimpse of Hogwarts as I heard a voice calling,
"First years this way please, First years over here!" I could already tell that this year was going to be awesome as I walked towards the voice.
