First day of junior high school and I couldn't be more nervous. I had worked real hard to get an admission in St.Vincent as it is the best school in Seattle.

I held April's hand tightly as she led me into the huge hall making our way to the reception. She waved and exchanged hello's with so many people on our way that it somewhere made me nervous to get noticed.

She has changed a lot since she shifted to Seattle a year ago i.e. in freshman year. I remember her being just like me.

Introvert, shy, studious and definitely not a party animal. A nerd basically.

Now, she is completely into late night parties, hanging out with friends and drinking too. I actually haven't asked her about her involvement in getting intoxicated but considering the vast changes in her I wouldn't be surprised if she would answer in the affirmative.

The last memory of us hanging out together before she moved here was at my place after studying for a test. We used to order some pizza and soda and this was what life was back then.

We are best friends since we both could remember. April has undergone a drastic change in her appearance also.

Back then she used to tie her long caramel coloured hair into plaids and tie a bandana above to avoid any strands coming on her face. Now she styles them into curls which fall till the small of her back.

I couldn't really understand what she was doing when she asked me to wait for like 20 minutes before bringing me here saying she needed to get ready. She applied makeup on her already perfect face and that made me scrunch my nose.

Maybe Seattle has this effect on people. Anyways I am happy for her.

She is my one and only friend and I love her so much. After we reached the reception she grinned at the brown curly haired man and to my surprise he pulled her into a hug.

"Who is this gentleman with you?", he asked April while eyeing me from head to toe. I felt a bit conscious and I quickly adjusted the hem of my shirt ensuring that all the buttons were closed.

This is a nervous habit I guess. "He is my bestfriend, Rex. He came here today in the morning and guess what?", she took a brief pause before patting me on the back and continuing, "He is here on scholarship basis."

I felt a little proud of myself and looked at the man before passing April a small smile. The man gave me my dorm room's key and April guided me into the crowded halls leading to another building where I supposed the dorms were.

We had small talks in between about how my family was back in Chicago, how I haven't changed even a bit in the past two years and how life will be different now when we are in junior year. I was already exhausted from the long journey and I just wanted to sleep for a while.

Classes were going to start from tomorrow onwards and so I had a day to relax, plan the next day and maybe study a bit. As soon as I reached the door to my room marked 101, I was about to push the key into the lock when I heard soft moans from inside.

I looked at April and she was equally confused. I knocked softly but no one answered.

So I decided to just go inside as practically it is my room too. I knew for a fact that I had to share the room with two other guys and I am sort of not ready for it.

I just hope they are like me so that we can be good friends, study together, talk about novels and go to the library every evening. But to my surpise when I opened the door there was a shirtless guy with tattoos on his back and arms, kissing a blond ruthlessly who was lying on the bed naked.
