Drunk & Sober : IN LOVE

Chapter 18

I didn't even realize when the two of us drifted into sleep. I slept so peacefully with her in my arms.

As soon as my eyes opened I saw her in front of the mirror putting on my white shirt. I rested my head on my elbow while I stared at her.

My shirt was barely reaching her thighs. The transparent material showcased her nipples.

She saw me through the mirror and came towards me seductively. I coughed dramatically when she came and sat on my stomach.

She traced my abs with her fragile fingers and bent down to kiss me. I rested my hand on her thighs while she kissed me on my neck and went slowly to kiss my abdomen region.

"So what do you want to do today? Either we can stay at home and cuddle all day or I can take you around to show the beauty London is." I pretended to think for a sweet second before saying, "Although the first option seems pretty convincing to me, I would like to see the city which you are so in love with. And also it's not always that Rex Mitchell visits London. So let's get ready and start with this. I am so excited to see London with the person I love the most."

Rebekah's POV:

Hearing the words 'I love you' from his mouth gave me butterflies. Guess it will take some time to be familiar with hearing those words often.

He got up from the bed so quickly that I thought I would end up on the floor but he was quick enough to take me in his arms. He set me back on my foot and grabbed his bag before going into the bathroom.

I sat there smiling like an idiot remembering the events of last night. He then opened the bathroom door for a second before popping his head out.

"Hey you. Go and get ready please. You will get us late." I stuck my tongue out of my mouth at his words and made my way out of the room.

After getting ready for my dayout with Rex, I looked at myself in the mirror. I looked different today even when I wore a normal white sweatshirt along with blue jeans and white shoes along.

It was my face. It glowed and my eyes were enough for someone to judge how happy I was.

I went downstairs to the dining room to grab breakfast. Grandma and Rex were already sitting together and were laughing at something.

I stopped to see how perfect his smile was and how much I loved him. My grandma saw me eyeing him and she just elbowed Rex to catch me in this embarrassing moment.

I tried to be normal and sat on the chair across grandma and adjacent to Rex. "Did you sleep well Becca?",she asked me while a smile crept on her face.

I almost choked on the coffee I was sipping and looked at my empty plate to stop her from noticing my tomato red face. She then laughed aloud causing me to look at Rex discomfortingly.

"You never looked so calm Becca. Look at you. You are gleaming with joy and it is so noticeable. I am so happy for the both of you. You'll look so cute together", she said while looking at Rex and I. I just smiled at her and continued with my breakfast.

After Rex was done pulling my leg with my grandmother I literally pulled him out of the house and into the car. I played my favourite album in the car and hummed along with the lyrics.

At first Rex was a bit shy to sing along but soon enough he eased up and it was no longer when we were singing at the top of our voices. I halted my car in front of the London Eye and looked at him as he looked at the giant ferris wheel in complete awe.

"It looks more fabulous in personal. The pictures do no justice to the beauty it is", he said while adjusting his glasses. I stepped out from the  car and while holding hands we made our way closer to the wheel.
