"KIM HONGJOONG, YOU'RE DOING IT WRONG AGAIN!!"
Shouted the ELITE II 's Phoenix Scout, who was apparently the one who taught Hongjoong about how to handle the guns. As a long ranged weapons specialist, he took the chance to hit Hongjoong on the head until the short male fell down facing the ground. He swear to God that he felt something dripping from his head.

Hongjoong let out a sharp breath while holding the back of his head. Before he even could, the scout grabbed him by his hair and looked down to him. Pure rage was shown visibly on the veteran's terrifying face. Hongjoong couldn't do anything but let the veteran take control.

"How many times should I say to you that you have to point to your enemy with 100 PERCENT OF CONFIDENCE!!"
With that, a hard slap was thrown on Hongjoong's right cheek. Not gonna ignore the fact that his head was spinning at the moment.

Hongjoong couldn't even think straight at the moment. His vision turned to be blurry as if everything was foggy. What he remembered was a short argument between two scouts, maybe an argument about his weak self. Too much to think, led him on passing out on the training land.

As multiple hours passed by while the small male figure stayed unconscious, Seonghwa was dead worried about Hongjoong's condition. He was trained worse than himself by that commander and Seonghwa knew Hongjoong couldn't take that physically and mentally. Since Seonghwa was chosen in the ELITE squad, he's now able to give command to the lower ones.

To kill the time, Seonghwa decided to cook the beef stew for his childhood friend. He cared about Hongjoong a lot that he couldn't even express it by himself. Yet the only one thing he knew there was an odd feeling against Hongjoong, he used to have it and maybe..still do. Yet he didn't want to admit it due to it might cut their ties. While he was almost done with the food, he heard a painful groan coming out from Hongjoong's room, alerting the taller male that the shorter male is awake now.

After a few minutes he served a bowl of beef stew with a small bowl of rice on the tray, alongside the spoon. He just decided to take a glass of cold water to put on the tray so he did before heading to Hongjoong's room. The room was silent, warm and had less light source. It's the best for the shorter male to rest there.

"Seonghwa?"
Hongjoong's lidded eyes met Seonghwa's soft gaze who looked concerned about his current situation. Hongjoong was weak and his head was bandaged, yet this boy still eager to train himself for hours even from now.

"Hongjoong don't move. I'll come to you."
Seonghwa spat those words before he sat beside the bed on the chair, setting the tray on the nightstand.

He raised Hongjoong's chin slowly which made the other male feel a bit shy around him. Seonghwa chuckled and tilted his head around so he could make sure there's no other bruises left on his head. Glad there was none.

"you know he's an ass at training why don't you fight back?"

"i.. don't want to. Either way! He was a veteran right?"

"fuck that."
Seonghwa deadpanned before looking into Hongjoong's eyes with a deadly stare as if needles could pierce in his eyes.

"I'll tell Yunho to train you. His skills are better than that old crippled naggy bitch. He's just acting tough, he's not that superior."
Seonghwa said those words as it was nothing to him. Hongjoong had to hold his hands to calm him down, even though he was shy.

"I'm fine with that but please don't be mad. I'll be okay-"

"I just don't want to lose you."
