7 : TRUTH.

Hongjoong was asleep beside Seonghwa's unconscious body that was laying on the bed for already a day and half, making his heart wrench at the sight. The humanity was debating to execute this male or not, he could be a danger or even the light for humanity to reach the justice. After a while Hongjoong woke up from his fourth nap just to make sure that Seonghwa was doing fine or not.

Soon he dropped his jaw as he looked at the pale male staring at him sleeping throughout the time. Seonghwa was awaken from his deep sleep 10 minutes ago, so he decided to just stare at the smaller male who slept beside him just to made sure he was safe. Hongjoong was bursting into tears as he saw the other male smiling at him, pulling him into a loose hug not to hurt the other male. Actually Seonghwa didn't feel any sort of pain. Actually he wasn't feeling any pain, weird. He pulled the other male into a tight hug, resting his chin on the other male's shoulder. Hongjoong cried out loud and clenched on the hem of the other male's shirt as those thoughts of that he would lose the other male began to cloud his minds. He felt miserable. He didn't know what to do when the Commander decided to leave Seonghwa on the battlefield. But he was lucky as Seonghwa's friends backed him up for Seonghwa's rights.

"Hwa.. I-I"
He sobbed in between his words, not even daring to look at the other male.

Seonghwa could only sigh and pat the other male's back, noticing that there was a fresh scar on the petite boy's shoulder. His eyes widened, muscles tensing up as he was getting protective towards the other male.

"Fuck , Joong I'm sorry that I wasn't able to protect you-"

"Hwa. It's alright. I should be the one who should apologize to you."
Hongjoong sobbed and finally looked up at the other with a pair of red puffy eyes.

"Y-You was out of control? What are you Hwa? They threw tons of questions on me and I couldn't even answer them. I-I don't even know what to respond and t-they threatened to kill you! I can't fucking accept that! I can't-"
Hongjoong was cut off with a pair of soft lips crashed against his own.

Hongjoong's eyes widened as he wasn't even ready for this. Finally getting his love a payback. He slowly closed his eyes, responding back to the kiss, arms wrapped tightly around the other male's neck. Hongjoong completely melted into the kiss and was enjoying every single second of it. Their lips moved in sync slowly, now finally breaking the kiss apart.

"Whatever happened when I was injured, I am just glad that I am alive now. I am glad to see you. I am glad that I could finally kiss you. Before I die, I want to confess my feelings for you that I've kept for years. Because I don't know how to approach you with my overwhelming feelings. Sometimes it hurts, but what's way more hurting is when I see you cry. I don't want you to cry. Because I love you, and I want you to be happy. I want you to be safe. Even it risks my own life."
Seonghwa confessed with full sincerity pouring out from his heart, and it hurts him for a typical reason which made the warm liquor rolling down from his eyes to his cheeks.

Seonghwa's hand moved up to Hongjoong's left cheek and caressed it gently with his hand. He looked into the other male's glimmering eyes without shame on himself for crying in front of the shorter. His heart was aching too hard, that he couldn't explain. He began to doubt to himself whether he can do this or not. He was unsure due to what humanity's view towards him. He was afraid that he's not going to be accepted. Meanwhile Hongjoong, was loss of words.

"When I first saw you I feel...the need to protect you. I feel that we were fated to stay , right? Yes. I had the urge to protect you the most and I didn't knew that I got myself into this."

Hongjoong watched the other male weep infront of him. He couldn't believe that the other male would be liking him back. But this was the bestest payback for his patience through the years doesn't it?

"Seonghwa, look at me."

Seonghwa looked up, with those red puffy eyes.

"I love you too. I've been loving you...for so long."
