Alessandra Makhdoom has never been a staunch believer in fairy tales. All thanks to her mom's royal fuck-up nineteen years ago – in literal sense of the phrase.
Forty eight life changing hours and the return of an absentee father later, she is on a plane, travelling to a new place with a new identity and living the fairy tale she never wanted to be a part of. A fairy tale set in a world beyond her imagination – a world where money talks, where "survival of the fittest" is the motto to live by; or as the students of Beaumonde say – a world where the blue bloods reign!
Determined not to astray from the path she set out for herself and to keep her morals intact, Alessandra must restrain herself from giving into the temptations and lures that this new world has to offer – even if they come in the form of a six foot tall, stormy-eyed, smoldering hot prince whose pride could rival even Mr. Darcy's.
A U T H O R ' S N O T E
I've been MIA from Wattpad for years now and this is a new story that I've started in the hopes of improving my writing and letting my creative juices flow more freely. I haven't written fiction in years and this is my take on a modern Pride and Prejudice of sorts with lots of other cliche tropes.
