*Marie's POV*
"JACK STOP!" I yell, after Johnson attacks Gilinsky for flirting with me.
I pull Johnson off of Gilinsky, but he throws one final punch, making Gilinsky's face start bleeding.
"Jack. Let's go." I say, as Jack gets up, huffing and puffing over Gilinsky. He looks at me, and there's something different about his eyes. They're wild. Almost insane. Then he nods, almost choking. The color of his eyes change, and I see the new feeling: fear.
I look back at Gilinsky and he gets up, holding his nose and looking at me.
I still hear his last words. "I can't believe you don't remember." When Johnson came and attacked him.
I don't know what I don't remember, but I swear I'm gonna find out.
I walk Johnson to his car and he pushes me up against the car door, hugging me tightly and crying into my neck.
"I'm sorry. You kept your promise. I can't believe I didn't." I hug him and try to comfort him as much as possible.
"It's okay jack I promise. Please can we just go?"
He nods and gets in the driver seat, me panting and him clenching the steering wheel, and angered by something I hidden.
"What was he talking about?" I say after a few minutes of awkward silence.
Johnson sighs and takes a left turn. "I'll show you. But we'll have to come to my house."
We arrive at his house and I'm mortified. I almost don't want to go inside.
We walk inside and he leads me to his room, shutting the door and throwing a pair of gym shorts and a tank top at me.
"This might take a while." He says. "You might want to get comfy."
