It has been a few months since Hwang Min Hyun had become the manager of marketing team one and it was no surprise to anyone that he became a power team with Han Eun Ji. The two of them are a core foundation of the incredible increase in sales as well as attaining bigger clients.
"Miss Han," Min Hyun calls from his office. She looks over from her desk through his open door. He waves her over and she nods. She saves the items on her monitor and closes them. She proceeds to walk in and closes the door behind her. "Have you seen the competing company statuses?"
"I have," she nods as she steps in further and sits onto the sofa in his office. "I've also been watching the marketing strategies that their clients have been implementing."
"So what are your thoughts," he asks. Min Hyun rolls out from his desk and turns to her. He leans forward with elbows on his knees as he waits for her answer.
"It's either they've hired some great employees or we've got a rat in our company," she concludes and leans back onto the couch. He has a solemn look and nods. "Since sales on competitors have been starting to match our own and a lot of strategic plans have been similar to our own I've been making sure to always secure my computer when not attended."
"As have I," he nods. He takes a deep breath and leans back onto his chair. He turns on it and faces the window that looks out towards the desks outside. "From now on we have to be more aware of our surroundings in case there is a chance of someone releasing information. I'll have a look on employee records in the other companies to see if your first thought is possible."
"Just let me know how we can solve it. We've worked so hard to raise sales and garner all of the new clients," Jae Eun states. Min Hyun sighs and with a tight smile, nods.
"Let's go out for lunch today. I don't know who would be listening at the office," he suggest.
"But here, at least we know the people here and can narrow it down. If we are outside, who knows who those people are and their purpose is," she shakes her head. "We need to just continue as we are doing."
"Alright. Order some delivery for the whole team. Let me know when it arrives," he orders.
"Yes, sir," she replies. She stands and heads for the door. As she reaches for the door she pauses as she notices someone just outside the door window.
"Jae Eun?" he calls out her name concerned. He glances at her and follows her gaze as she does not hear him. He stands from his chair and walks over until he see's what she is looking at. "How well do you know, Kim Jae Hwan."
She glances back to find him just behind her before observing the scene in front of her. "Not too well. Just as much as the next person. Not too friendly to those he thinks are below him, and pretends in front of those above him and can eventually help him. He does it well and has decent outcomes. He's in charge of a lot of team two's success."
"He's the one who commented when I was being introduced right?" he recalls. Jae Eun grimaces and nods. "Keep an eye out."
"Should I go out now or wait until he finishes whatever he's trying to find on my computer?" Jae Eun tilts her head as she sees the man focused as he goes through the files in the computer and around her desk. "You'd think he would at least do it after hours."
"Up to you. If you go out now he probably will start going through your things after hours. If you wait it out he will probably just do it as he has right now," Min Hyun shrugs. Jae Eun turns to him with a smile. "What?"
"Are you busy after hours?" she asks with a sweet voice. He looks at her weirdly and shakes his head hesitantly. "Perfect! We'll see if it really is him then."
