Chapter 20

Jessicas PoV.

Zed and I had planned to help the werewolves out in their bad situation that the pack was in at this very particular moment. I looked at all the wolves. They all looked terrible, I think the moonstone was indeed crushed and that they were only suffering now. I walked around the den behind Zed who had told me to keep it back.

He knew that I would snap something with a funny purpose but the werewolves would understand it as something more mean. That is the reason I kept my mouth shut right now.

I had planned to see how Wyatt was doing at this very moment. I did not know why but I started to care for him. God, why am I like this now. I have never thought about a guy this much. Well I mean I never had a guy that I had any interest im or that I would have found sympathic. But Wyatt over there...he was different from all of the boys that I have ever met in my life.

"We are monsters and we have to stick together okay? There is away to achieve the equality we all are longing for. But it needs to break some rules for that!"

Zed crossed his arms over his chest and looked at the werewolves waiting for their response to his suggestion. It looked like Willa, Wynter and Wyatt were actually considering to accept it and that made me happy. We have a plan and needed them for it.

"You are right. We are all monsters...and humans. We should stick together no matter what happened. So tell me, what rule do you wanna break to achieve equality in Seabrook?"

Willa grinned slightly while she was looking at Zed expecting him to explain the plan he had to achieve the equality and the freedom that all of us wanted.

"You know how the anti monster laws are up again because we saw a werewolf in the woods after our crash with the school bus. No wait actually because Addison saw you Willa. So we need to break one specific rule they have put up for us. The Prawn Rule..."

Zed kept on talking while I stopped listening as he mentioned the upcoming Prawn this weekend. Oh no...I still do not have a boy that would go with me to it. Addison and Bree would go with Zed and Bonzo when the werewolves agreed to crash the Prawn. But who should I go with? I do not know any of the boys at Seabrook High. I mean I have been here for two days and now I have to go to Prawn.

The howling werewolves interrupted my thoughts about Prawn. I assumed that they agreed to Zeds idea and I began to smile happily. I looked over at Wyatt locking our eyes for a moment. We both had a smile on our face. Maybe I should ask him. I mean this whole adventure had brought us closer.
