The only thing you could hear, was screams of pain, agony, and suffering as gunfire was heard along.

I sighed, as I put my last bullet in the barrier. I stood up from my cover, and shot all my bullets on the enemies I saw in sight.

As the bodies fell, I pulled myself up from the ditch. I grabbed the knife from my pocket, and went slicing whoever's throat that was in my way.

I threw my knife at the man who had his gun at me. As I was pulling the bloody object out of the man's head, his comrade pointed his gun to my head.

His finger was on the trigger, but he didn't pull it. He hesitated, shaking in fear as he himself had a fearful look. But, before he could actually kill me.

A bullet went though his head, causing the man to fall right beside me. Violet stood in front of me, with a small pistol in her other hand. She walked up to me, handing the pistol to me.

I stood up, with the bloody knife in my other hand. As I was about to open my mouth, I saw a man behind Violet who tried to shoot her but I pushed her down shooting the man. But his bullet hit me, I fell on the ground with a grunt and held my shoulder.

As blood was starting to stain my uniform, I was being dragged away from all the shooting happening. My cousin was screaming for a nurse, as Violet kept her gaze on me.

Once they got me away from all the danger. The medical soldier unbuttoned my uniform carefully, Making sure he wasn't hurting me.

He pulled down my left sleeve, which now has a hole along with blood. At least it adds color, there. You could see where the bullet was, at least it went though my shoulder and didn't get stuck.

The medical soldier grabbed what he needed, and started getting to work. He patted the wound with rubbing alcohol, which stung making me slightly flinch from the sudden pain.

Once he made sure my injury wasn't infected. He grabbed nice wrapped white bandages, and started to wrap my shoulder. He finished it, making sure the bandages were tight but not too tight.

He waved himself off, and hurried off. To tend to other soldiers, who probably got more serious injuries than mine. I let out a sigh, I faced Gilbert with a smile. He returned it back, and went back to face our battle.

"You know, you'll working fine. No injuries or such, I think you can leave me and fight along side my cousin." I wasn't facing Violet, but she knew I was talking to her.

"It that you're orders?" I huffed out a breathe, and faced the blonde. "Yeah, I order you to stop babysitting me. And help my cousin." She gave me a firm nod.

"Yes, Captain."

"So..." The bus was kinda quiet, despite having a lot of people on the transport. I sat across Hodgins, having Violet's present besides me.

"You own a company, that sends letters out to people and receive some as well?" Hodgins nods his head at my question, "Do you know what an Auto memory doll is?" I tilt my head slightly at Hodgins's question.

I try thinking really hard about the question. The term sounds familiar, but I can't seem to put a finger on it. "They're people that write letters for others, right?" Hodgins gave me a nod, along with a smile.

"I brought an old mansion and made it into the CH postal company." I nod at his answer. I turn my attention to the people outside, the world's still recovering from the war. Understandable, but people just look so...lively. God, I wish I could feel the same way, with no regrets.

"A mansion or a factory did you buy?" Hodgins laughed at my joke, slightly nudging me. "I was waiting for you, to make one of your jokes." The place from the outside was big enough, can't imagine what the inside will look like.

As Hodgins took the lead, walking ahead. I follow suit, and turn my head just enough. So I can see where Violet stands, I tilt my head come here. She gives a stiff nod and follows.

I enter the building right after Hodgins and stop. The inside was just like a mansion! The place was busy, people walking in and out of the place. Hearing chats among us, the place was over all...lively.

I haven't been in a mansion for awhile. "I'm impressed, Lieutenant." Hodgins chuckled, rubbing the back of his neck. "Didn't you live in an mansion yourself, Captain?" I turn to look at Violet and smile.

"Yeah, I did. But I don't remember mine being this big. Or maybe, it was bigger cause I was small." I stopped to think about I just said, "But I don't remember Gilbert's mansion being big." I just shrugged, I really don't want a headache right now.

Hodgins started touring us around. He brought us up the second floor, and opened a door to a room. Where I'm guessing people request for a letter to be written for them. He introduced us to his staff, you have the three auto memories dolls. Who are Cattleya, Iris, and Erica. Such beautiful women I must say, I slightly elbow Hodgins's side with a smug grin.

"You have good taste in women, eh? Especially Cattleya." I could see Hodgins's cheeks flush a light shade of pink. He stuffed his face in one hand, groaning. "Kidding! I'm only playing!" Or am I?

He took us down stairs, and opened two big wooden doors to this room which had a lot shelves. "A library?" I ask out loud, "No, this is where postmen for the company work. They organize mail sent to different people, along with making the deliveries for said mails." I lean over to Violet, "Nice, huh?" She just gives me another silent nod.

Still quiet as ever, Hodgins calls over someone. A slim looking boy with blonde hair walks over, as he stood in front of both Violet and me. I started examining the boy who's name is Benedict. I came to the conclusion that I'm an inch taller than this boy, I would also guess that from afar.

I'd look taller, just by looking at his built. I was more muscular than him, I was alway self-conscious about my height growing up. Dietfried alway made fun of me as a child, about how short I was but the more I grew the more he stopped teasing me about it.

Since than, I've had this tendency to feel more dominant and intimidating by height. It's all thanks to Dietfried for making me start thinking that way, and the army as well.

I give a bow as a sign of respect, "I appreciate the help, I really do." Benedict rubs his head. "It's not a problem, boss said so." Hodgins explain to Violet and me, that he wants to start working as postmen who organizes mails by addresses.

Hodgins's took our luggage to our rooms on the third floor and waved us off. Once the doors closed, Benedict clapped his hands together. Drawing our attention to him.

"Now, let's get the basics and everything down."
