Chapter One | Leah, The Angel

Leah POV

"Ladies and gentlemen, the fall out boys."

The band started performing as I get the signal to walk out. I place a smile on my face as I walk out.

As the first wave of cheers hit me, I focused on my walk, making sure to step one foot in front of the other.

The cameras flashed wildly as I walked closer to the edge, the applause deafened me slightly and the applause fed my confidence. I reached the edge and hit a pose at the many people and cameras looking at me.

I turned and headed back up the runway and once I get backstage, I headed over to Nicole who waits for me with my next outfit of the night.

"You did amazing." Nicole said, smiling as she lead me to the dressing room for me to change.

"Thank you." I said as I stare at the monitor as a segment comes on about me.

Embry POV

"It's her. It's Leah!" Seth exclaimed.

"Being a part of this is huge. I come from a small town and to be able to get the opportunity to do something thrilling is awesome." Leah said as we all stared at the television in shock.

All of my senses went berserk as I tried to decipher the when, where, why, how and who?

"I guess we now know how she's able to send so much money for the tribe." Quil said.

Leah had been missing for more than two years after our confrontation with the Volturi and now I find her popping up on the television screen?

"I was very nervous about doing this. My past made me very insecure and scared and I felt I wasn't good enough but the very first thing I did with Victoria's Secret was the casting and when I booked the show, it was just so amazing." Leah said as clips of her walking down the runway and posing for the camera.

"I'm just one lucky girl." Leah said as the segment ended.

"Ladies and gentlemen, please welcome, a great big world."

As the track for "Say Something" began to play.

What the hell happened?

"She's living the dream." Jacob said, smiling at the screen as Leah once again appeared walking down the runway.

"Wow." Quil said as the camera zoomed in on her chest.

Leah POV

"Alright prep next section!"

Things backstage were always a little hectic.

There were assistants and tech people running around making sure everything was set and on time and then half naked girls all over the place getting ready.

"Are you ready for your wings?" Nicole asked.

I groaned.

Don't get me wrong I was accustomed to wearing wings, but honestly they were huge and threw you off balance.

"Put it on me." I said.

Nicole laughed and started putting the wings on me.

"Ladies! Everyone line up! Hurry up, Leah!" Johnny yelled.

"Damn, I could choke him." Nicole said as she stepped away from me.

"You're done." Nicole added as I moved to make sure the wings were secured.

"Thank." I said as I quickly take off to where the girls were lined up.

We all stood in line hearing the music blast and getting psyched up. The line moved forward bit by bit. I danced in place to the music to hype myself up and winked at the camera on me.

A few seconds later, I was finally told to go. I strutted my way down the runway. I reached the end of the runway and posed.

Embry POV

Another segment came and once again Leah appeared on the television screen in workout clothes.

"What does it take to be an Angel?" Michael Olajide, Jr asked. "Everything you've got. Even that's not enough." He says with a laugh as a clip of the girls in workout clothes and doing different types of workouts comes on.

Leah comes back on the screen.

"It takes focus, it takes commitment, and it takes endurance. But beauty is nothing without strength." Leah said.

"These girls train like professional athletes and they really for the bodies that they want." Micheal said as a clip of Leah jump roping comes on the screen then a clip of her boxing comes on.

"Michael trains me like a fighter and the fight never actually ends. I workout for the runway but mostly I workout for life." Leah said.

"Leah is the real deal. It's just mental as it is physical for her and she's unstoppable." Michael said.

A clip of Leah doing push-ups comes on.

"She's a whole different person." Seth said.

"I like to sweat. I like to keep moving. When I love something I commit to it." Leah said as the segment ends and Leah with a white bra and matching panties with huge wings appear on the screen.

I couldn't stop staring at her.

"She's beautiful." I said.

"Leah has always been the most beautiful girl... she still is the most beautiful." Quil said.

"We need Leah." Someone said.

"Stand by."

"Leah's right here. She made it."

"Ladies and gentlemen, please welcome back the one and only, Taylor Swift."

Taylor Swift walks out on the runway.

The music began and Taylor started singing "I knew you were trouble." And Leah walked out onto the runway, singing along to the song.

The crowd roared.

Soon the show was over and all the girls walked out for their finale walk and Leah was leading them, dancing and waving to the audience.

"It's a wrap."

"We have to find a way to get Leah to come back home." Jacob said.
