You pause from your work as the sounds of a screaming child echoed to the hall.

The knife from your palms gently dropped and fell down into the chopping board, that was... something.

 "b-boss!" You hear Dust say, almost shocked or maybe it's just his voice that faltered.

Hearing small little steps, you didn't mind it thinking it was a dog, probably Dust is up to something.

You felt a weight bump in the back of your knee caps, almost making you fall.

Sighing heavily, you turn around to see... oh my stars?! who's that cute chibi?! 

 The small, cute child looked at you with fear as you tilt your head in confusion.

Knowing by the clothes, he is a boy.

Lavender eyes, a golden crown with a moon emblem, some purple royalty clothes and boots, he's height was half of your Masters, only reaching your higher knee cap.

He was carrying this brown book and his eyes were wide with fear, beads of water falling down from his skull.

How does that even happen? 

 Before you could even say, Dust and Killer entered the kitchen, almost panicking.

They both sigh in relief when they looked at the small skeleton.

You look at the child, confused."Wha-?"

They approached it and the next thing you knew, its small trembling body hid behind your frilly black and white skirt. 

You stared at them in confusion, receiving  two lazy shrugs.

"(y-y/n), look, uh, it's complicated but, uh..." Killer says while scratching the back of his skull. 

The small child tugs on your shirt with his free hand and you swayed your hands on him in a protective motion.

You gave the Masters a look in which they only gulped, you shake your head in response.

Painstakingly slow, you got to your knees and face him kindly, he was shaking like a leaf for the sake of the stars! 

 He shakily gazes at your (e/c) eyes, You say, "Hey, I'm not gonna hurt you, okay?"

He nodded so you continued, "I'm (Y/n), and may I ask what's your's?"

 "N-nightmare." He replied in this cute voice, his hands on his book protectively.

You almost mouthed an 'aww' to him, he's so cute! 

 Wait, wait. Wait a minute, You look at the small child doubtedly, "Your name is Nightmare?" 

He nodded in response, you look up at the Masters and they seem to be very nervous about something, well, they should be nervous because they got a lot of explaining to do.
