John groaned as he snoozed his alarm

9:00am

He rubbed his eyes, honestly school wasn't the move today, he only had one class and he could care less for it. He opened his text messages to see one from Jaren, he immediately opened it subconsciously smiling.

Jaren: morning :)

John: morning beautiful

Jaren: oh shush up, any plans today?

John: none ;)
John: let's hang

Jaren: sounds like a plan

John: I'll pick you up at 1:00pm

Jaren: can't wait ;)

John smiled and shook his head, he lazily brushed his hands through his hair looking through his pile of clothes. Nothing seemed right to wear. Finally he decided on just decided on a simple outfit out black jeans pair with one of his favorite colorful button up.

Jaren on the other hand threw on a pair of jeans and a red hoodie calling it a day we it was a bit chilly outside, he rush downstairs to see Evan and Jonathan just chilling on the couch watching Disney movies.

"So this is what you do on your day off?" Jaren teased sitting down next to the pair.

"Well excuse me, didn't know we had a Disney hater in this household" Evan pouted crossing his arms.

"Ain't no hater here, I would join you if I could." Evan looked at Jaren suspiciously then looked to Jon who nodded.

"Okay you passed the vibe check, if you want we can watch something together?"

"Nah John's going to come and pick me up soon." Jaren said going on his phone to mindlessy scroll on Instagram.

"Oooh a date huh" Jonathan teased as Evan beamed with excitement.

"Pft no, we're just hanging out." Jaren a bit embarrassed hid his face in his hoodie not looking at the other two.

"Mhm sure, cuz sharing saliva isn't a date." Evan said giggling, Jaren facepalmed trying to hide his now bright red face.

The doorbell rang and Jaren felt relieved, he quickly opened the door to see a smiling John. Jaren waved goodbye to the two boys and shut the front door grabbing John's hand. John looked at him a bit confused but went with it.

"Don't question it, just Evan and that's all you need to know." John laughed nodding, Evan could be quite a character from time to time especially about his friends going out. "Sooo where are we going"

"That's a surprise" John winked, making Jaren blush a bit. Jaren wasn't too fond of surprises but with John they didn't seem too bad.

"Hmph okay then" Jaren fake pouted a bit cracking a small smile. They got in John's car and blasted music just singing along and talking as John drove to his secret surprise place. They pulled into a area covered with trees and lights all around. In the distance you could see a little pinci blanket with pillows surrounding it. Jaren gasped with a shocked face.

"Surprise!" John yelled throwing his hands up and laughing, he go out of the car and got a basket out of the trunk smiling to Jaren. He grabbed Jarens hand leading him over to the little are he made. 

"You did all this for me?" Jaren said still in shock, how could this be real life or well a second life. He was never treated this god, even when evan was alive, they were bullied everyday. When Evan passed he didn't know how he was going to get through life anymore and now, he couldn't be happier. 

"Of course i did, I wanted to make this special for both of us, and we can get to know each other more."  John blushed, Jaren smiled kissing John's cheek making John blush more. They both sat down and John pulled out a few snacks and sandwiches he made. Jaren stared in awe

Jaren's eyes started to water, he quickly wiped them away before John could notice. How could this amazing guy like him? John hugged Jaren as if he knew what was going through the boys head. Jaren appreciated it and hugged him back tight.

The boys sat together for what felt like hours, they talked, cried and laugh together. John looked up the stars admiring them with Jaren resting his head on John's shoulder. This was perfect, more perfect than John planned it to be. He still couldn't believe how he got Jaren to like him but he was happy. Happiest he's been in a while. As it started to push more towards midnight the two were cuddled comfortable on the blanket just enjoying the silence and comfort of each other.
