Britain and Soviets families fight constantly.
America and Russia both want it to stop, but their families threaten to hurt them (or their siblings or states) if they stop fighting.
One day, both families are invited to a masquerade ball.
Will they finally get along?
*America*
I adjust my mask, making sure it looks nice.
Britain walks in. "America, you'd better be on your best behavior."
I nod.
He adds "And I won't hesitate to hurt your states if you screw up."
My states..
He keeps the smaller ones locked up together in the basement, as well as District of Colombia.
I nod again.
He smiles and walks out.
I finish the final adjustments, then walk downstairs.
We all get in the limo that drives us to the party.
When we arrive, I look around. I feel like someone is watching us.
I look up at one of the balconies and see a shadow run into the building.
I walk inside behind the rest of my family.
I notice two people, taller than everyone else. I walk over to them. I know who it is. Maybe they won't recognize me..
I smile and say "Hi!" making my voice slightly higher pitched than normal.
The shorter one moves away. "We were in the middle of talking-"
The taller one nudges him. "You need to make friends. Talk to him."
The younger one sighs, then turns to me. "It's loud in here. Do you want to sit on the balcony?"
I nod.
He asks "Do you know where it is?"
I nod again. "Can you get drinks?" My voice is normal again. Whoops.
He nods, then goes to get drinks. I walk up to the balcony. I sit on the bench.
Russia comes up with the drinks. He sits next to me and hands me a cup.
I sip the drink.
It's cold out here.
I lean on him and shiver.
He opens his jacket and I immediately hide in the warmth.
I continue drinking, snuggling closer to him.
I giggle. "You're wAArrrmmmm!"
I climb into his lap and snuggle against his chest. He wraps the coat around me, hugging me.
