Arachme pulled the fabric higher until her nose was concealed from the outside. The echoing of her shoes hitting the ground running around every crack, ruin, and monument. Dust flew all around as pieces of sunshine barely made it inside.

The woman lifted her hand as candles lit up one by one. An orange glow took over the room as the pillars stood tall and strong even if their surroundings were completely destroyed.

Arachme took a few steps forward, reaching the middle, where all the fallen gods were made to rest.

Black smoke slowly ran out of her fingertips. Shapeless and heavy just like the statues before her.

She clicked her tongue as the smoke vanished, swallowed by the floor painted with images of the Great Death.

"This is my last due to pay," she said.

Hands began to rise from the ground. Black oil that could only come from the river of souls splashed and melted as the limbs began to hold onto the pillars.

Arachme turned her back on the scene as wails if agony and pain filled the room. Steps echoes against the cries as the woman made her overdue exit.

Chan stood amidst the ruins of what was known as the Room of Crowns.

His gaze low as the darkness swallowed what was left of his father.

He lifted his eyes, catching those that were to belong to Aphrodite. A face of beauty even when turned into pieces.

A surge of electricity went through him. He hissed.

A soft gasp peaked the man's attention. He turned, only to see the son of pure beauty and the son of War.

"What's left?" Minho said, stoic, controlled. A slight push from insanity.

"The prideful stands of Aphrodite and the hands of Apollo" Chan answered.

Hyunjin rushed forward, towards what was left of his family.

"Even shattered..." he mumbled as he stared at his mother. Her soft features sliced through with no shame nor gracefulness.

"Is it Changbin's doing?" Chan asked Minho.

The man responded with a stiff no.

"The river of souls is not under the control of the Prince of the Underworld," he said as he looked up.

Ares seemed to be made of dust as the only thing left were the golden shine of the forgotten Blades of Chaos.

The boy stared. His veins seemingly growing in hotter.

"Is this to call for the rest?" Hyunjin asked, fearful, unwilling.

Chan lifted his gaze, to where his own father used to stand tall.

"I can only assume we do" Chan answered as the sound of metal took his attention.

Minho held onto a set of chained blades. His eyes filled with knowing sadness, as not even in death would his father hand him the one thing he trained to live by.

"They're rightfully yours," Chan said.

The man lifted his head up quickly. His chest tightening at the thought of disobedience.

"Not even his memory can hold them," Hyunjin said softly.

Minho grabbed the handles firmly as the chain snakes up his arms. He hissed at the sensation of hot metal mounding into his skin.

He let out evenly spaced breaths as the power leaves his veins.

His eyes are closed as he feels the hands of his father depart from the metal that was solely made for him.

"We are to find him," Minho said as he opened his eyes.

Hyunjin lowered his gaze in defeat.

Chan sighed, his gaze lost as well.

"This fight for dominance is over," Minho said firmly. "We have a right to deny and fight.

Hyujin wanted to reject desperately, but his words ran dry as the surge of power entered his veins.

"We will," Chan said. A bolt jumping away from the trio.
