Arachme closed her eyes. Time around her almost stopping to a halt.

The only figure in her mind was the Carrier of Gods, her mother of all traits, leaving her in a stranger's doorstep. She could remember the rain and the forest. She remembered the women who opened the door and helped her in. She remembered calling out to her mother.

By then, the woman was beautiful. A sign of hope for many. But she turned into a monster once the souls ran free and Persephone had abandoned the Underworld.

As of how her mother came back, that was foggy. She passed her years of life just learning from the witches. Their magic quite different from what ran through her veins. One day, the house was empty and there stood her mother holding Zeus' crown in between her fingers.

Her words were not of comfort nor did she apologize. They carried bitterness and poison. Her orders sounding sweet to someone starved of love.

"The lesson I learned" Arachme whispered.

As the entire house had tumbled and the three orders were in place. Y/N was sent to destroy what was left of the Gods and their people.

Destroy Athena, Send Sparta into a frenzy and Destroy the memory of the Fallen Gods.

All of it in the sake of going back into her arms. A promise her mother didn't plan of keeping.

"That as your daughter" she struggled as her insides turned.

She looked up with black orbs for eyes just like the ones her mother carried.

"I can also kill a god"

A wall of black smoke rose from the floor. Annette screamed in surprise. Arachme pushed her hands towards her body, bringing the powerful being face to face.

"You owe me so much more than just love mother." She said. "You owe me my life."

She slammed the woman against one of the walls.

"My self"

Annette went flying against a pillar.

"And my name"

Arachme threw the woman across the hallways. As the smoke cleared her heart squeezed. She had managed to hurt her mother.

Annette started to laugh as she cracked her head back in place.

"My daughter finally understood," she said as she stood tall. "That she is only meant to kill gods"

Arachme's blood boiled as her mother kept smiling.

"Just like my father and the woman before him" she explained in her elegant fashion.

She began to walk towards the girl.

"We knew of the power that went against all. But every try was a failure in its wake" Annette said.

Arachme summoned her smoke underneath the building. She needed to be ready.

"But I came to be the only one. Why is that darling?" Annette said taking a few more steps forward.

Arachme remained silent.

"Because some Gods had their own secrets to deliver and prosper." Annette came face to face with Arachme. "Which means I was the primary reason those children are even alive"

Annette laughed as Arachme froze.

The wall of smoke shot out of the floor.

"But one thing that I love darling" Annette said as a string of smoke held onto Arachme's neck. "Your power feels soooo good. I would love to have it"

Jeongin ran around trying to find the library. His body began to shake as the building did the same.

"An earthquake!? In Olympus!?" A voice.

Jeongin ran towards it. A group of four people stood amidst the hallway holding onto the pillars.

The boy inspected their faces and located the one he knew as Woojin.

"Woojin!" Jeongin called out as he stood still.

The child raised his head as the earthquake subsided.

"Jeongin!?" Felix and Changbin said in unison as they shared a look.

Woojin walked towards him as he extended his hand. Jeongin took it out of curiosity.

"How did he get here on his own?" Seungmin asked Felix.

"That's our question as well" He answered.

Woojin pulled Jeongin towards the group after a small conversation.

"We better get going to Zeus' throne," Woojin said. "We have to help them."

Felix looked down at his own leather bag and sighed.

"Is the vase inside?" Changbin's asked.

"Yes," Felix said. "But I may have stolen a few scrolls"

Woojin rolled his eyes as they went on their way.

The smell of belladonna and sulfur suddenly reaching their noses as they all hurried up their step.

Chan fell to his knees as his body seemed to lose oxygen.

"I know you don't want me here," he said. "I know you wanted Hercules or any other one of your children protecting your empire"

He let out a groan.

"But the Carrier succeeded in killing them all" Chan continued.

"So I ask of you" he let out a cry. "To please lend me your power"

The head didn't move as the pain went up in ounces. He screamed as it felt like his flesh was being torn open. Droplets of sweat fell to the floor as he panted.
