SUMMARY :  We meet Tom Riddle and Rodolphus Lestrange in this Chapter.

After their dueling session with Severus, which had lasted longer than any of them intended, they took showers, changed into fresh uniforms, and while Severus headed to find Logan, Roark and Harry went up to their office, both feeling rather proud of themselves.  They had managed to hold their own against Severus for longer then they normally did, and though he had still knocked them both on their asses, he had praised them on their spell work, telling them how much they had grown.

Again, that was something he rarely did, but then they had surprised him when they told him some of the spells they had used were of their own creation.  They had decided, once they reached their office to start on the first of the reports, and over the next couple of centars, the brothers worked silently, reading page after page from Kale's reports concerning his investigation into Tom Marvolo Riddle.  The more he read...the more they FOUND, the more furious Roark became.

Report after report was very nearly the same, orders not given that should have been, and those that were, got them nothing buy more frustration, and dead ends.  There were a few that just made no sense at all. that led in the completely opposite direstion from where they needed to be going.  Finishing the file he was reading, he reached for one of the external drives that contained Kale's personal reports and notes.

When he plugged it into his laptop, it loaded immediately, asking him for a password.  He turned, pulling his jacket from the back of the chair, and from an inner pocket, he pulled a small black, leather bound notebook.  Opening it to the page he had written the passwords Dacian had given him, he typed in the first one on the list.  That one did not work, nor di the second ot third.  Looking down the list, he spotted something, something that very few outside of the family new.

Nearly three yahren ago, while he had been on leave, he had attended the fall harvest festival with his family, and while there had met a beautiful young woman named Rosia.  Two sectars later he had asked her to be his wife, and she had agreed.  Then, to everyone's shock and  horror, she had been killed in a shuttle bus accident mere weeks before the wedding.

Entering the date of the wedding that had never happened, Roark watched his screen fill with words.  He began to read through Kale's private notes concerning his case and Tom Riddle.  THAT was when he began to notice the discrepancies.  The orders Kale had INTENDED to give, to the ones he had.  Reaching for one of the reports, Roark opened it, looking through it until he found it.  The notes in the file that corresponded with the private notes...  It was almost as if he hadn't been in his right mind...as if he had been...'SON of a BITCH!! his mond screamed at him.  'HOW DARE THEY!! he rages as he jumped up from his chair, began to pace around the office with furious steps.  His forehead was creased with a deep frown and his silver eyes blazed red with fury, muttering virulent curses as the room began to heat up alarmingly.

Roark's magic very rarely slipped this badly from his control, and certainly not twice in a row like this.  He had always had better control then this, but something was...wrong within him, and he couldn't figure out what it was.

Harry's head had snapped up the moment he felt his brothers distress and growing fury, which had only added to his own.  A very bad combination that.  Two heat elements like fire and lightening raging at the same time?  They'd blow the building up if they weren't careful and didn't get some kind of a handle on this.

Then Roark had exploded out of his chair.  Suddenly realizing that, given his own fury, he would never be able to calm Roark on his own, no matter how much he may have wanted too, he needed someone with an opposite magical infinity from theirs.
