The pebbles growled and scattered like animals under the wheels when the car pulled into the driveway of the Kim Estate. Everything was how she left it; nature blooming and the exterior of her house spotless. A smile crept across her red lips before turning her head back to see her boy. He was asleep in the backseat of the car. Jin was holding himself - pale tear marks cutting through his flushed cheeks. Mrs Kim could let him sleep forever, but the sooner he got into the house the better.Again the rocks crunched under the heel of a certain high-heeled shoe. Mrs Kim took all off his packed belongings into the guest bedroom before going back to wake him up. Jin was reluctant, but eventually, he got up and dragged himself to the freshly made bed that was waiting for him

2 weeks had passed and Jin was... okay. He would help out in the house and give his mother company while she was sunbathing inside the garden. If he was left to his own devices however, the poor boy wouldn't have left his bed. Or washed. Or eaten. Mrs Kim desperately wanted to get Jin another therapist, but unfortunately, any hope had been crushed. Jin had eventually caved in to the idea of getting therapy first time she suggested it but after the horrible experience that happened - which Mrs Kim was oblivious to what actually occurred since Jin refused to tell her. Believe me, she tried, but Jin would get defensive and refused to talk. Seeing that was too painful so she avoided the subject again and again despite it always knawing at her brain when she couldn't sleep at night.
Anyway, Jin was laying in the grass still wearing his pyjamas. His mother lay a few spaces away with a dress that displayed summer perfectly in it's calm, blue and light design. The birds sang the sweetest of songs and the seductive smell of a neighbour's barbeque wafted passed them. This situation would be the definition of relaxation to most people, however, Mrs Kim had something else in mind. She wanted to try therapy again.
there was not a hope in hell Jin would
"Jin," the woman began cautiously, "are you ready to tell me what happened during your last therapy session?"
No response. Oh how much she hated this treatment.
"Jin... why are you so scared to tell me?"
Finally, Jin turned his head to the side to make some weak eye contact, "It went fine." The man's voice was as fine as dust, as thin as a hair and as brittle as glass. Those dark eyes that bled pain onto the Earth - the black and white filter he can never remove.
"Then are you willing to try again...?" Mrs Kim said with a hopeful smile. Despite the torture inside his head that his eyes provided a clear window to - they were still captivating as ever. A piece of her heart followed after when he turned his head back around to observe the sky. Jin's chapped lips were pressed together for a while before they uttered a small question.
"Eomma, when will the sun explode?"

Seokjin was distraught. He can't recall how or when but after an easy 4 weeks back in the house he grew up in, his mother had organised for another therapist to come for regular meetings. Their first session was arranged for last week but Jin had avoided it by barricading the door to his room. Embarrassing to his mother who had to explain to his new counsellour why their meeting had to be postponed, but a huge relief to Jin. This time there was no getting out of it. As Jin buried into a simple grey hoodie, someone was coming. They were coming to make him feel worse - he knew their plans. His mother tried to convince that this man was different and one of the best in South Korea. Honestly? Bullshit. They were all the same.
The rocks outside crunched. A couple of loud knocks rung through the house. Mrs Kim got up to answer. Jin couldn't move; he was paralysed in paranoia.
A brief exchange occurred between his mother and his therapist before she poked her head in the room. After wishing her son good luck, she disappeared.
A man walked in.
Their eyes met.
