"You two are always fighting no matter where we are and embarrass us in front of everyone!" our parents screamed at me and Ajax.
"So that's the reason you're sending us off all alone to another state?" I scoffed, what kind of parents would pull this kind of stunt on their recently graduated kids?
"Yes! We've had it up to here with the two of you. This way you'll be forced to get along with each other." my mom said.
"What makes you think that?" Ajax asked our parents, annoyance lacing his tone.
"You won't have anyone there to talk to or hangout with except each other." Ajax's dad said proudly, sounding as if they've thought over their plan a million times.
I rolled my eyes, there are so many holes in this little idea of theirs.
Our parents however smiled victoriously like they had this entire thing figured out.
"You can't just force me to go, I don't want to spend my summer with him!" I said sounding as annoyed as I felt.
"The tickets are already booked for tomorrow, so you two better get packing, if you weren't always at each other's throats this wouldn't have had to happen." Ajax's mom said.
Adalina's parents have been close friends with Ajax's parents ever since high school. Their parents hoped that their kids would grow as friends then become more but, 18 hopeless years later, they've become desperate.
This is their new plan.
