The six (completely normal) teenagers stared at the two (not completely normal) teenagers sat against a tree with one of them drinking a cup of water. The party (and Nancy) had yet to ask them what the hell happened. And then, they heard the sound. The oh so docile tones of Jim Hopper.

"What the fuck happened here?" shouted Hopper coming out of his jeep (along with Joyce followingnsuit) to stare at his broken home. Quite literally.

"Uh... we don't know?" Dustin shouted at him.

Hopper turned to look at the kids, his eyes wide as he scanned the scene. And a look of guilt and remorse flashed across both Eleven's and [Y/N]'s face.

"We kinda exploded it." Eleven admitted.

Huh?

"You did what?!?!" Hopper exclaimed.

"Hop! Let the kids explain!" Joyce said almost in a scolding, motherly manner.

"I was helping [Y/N] control her powers. And she fainted and did that." Eleven said, pointing to the house. "It was an accident."

"Jim, it was an accident. Stop flaring those nostrils like a psycho person." Joyce told him.

And he stopped looking angry. "Do you have anyway of unexploding my house?"

"Uh... uh... uh... uh... uh... uh... uh...."

"So, I'm going to take that as a no." Hopper said.

"Lay off her, Hopper!" Mike told him.

"It's fine, Mike. I understand where he's coming from. I did destroy his home after all." she whispered to him.

The boy turned to her and almost melted at her calming voice. And everyone could visibly see the onviousness of it all.

"I may ... be able to... do something... but I've never... actually done it ... before." she drifted off completely aware of the look Mike was still wearing atop his features.

"Well, how do you know you can do it then?" asked Hopper.

"Because... I saw it be done... by Bill... when he was training me to... to... to... to..." she couldn't find the words to finish her statement.

It just wouldn't come out of her mouth. Like she couldn't force it out. Or he wouldn't let her force the words out of her mouth.

"And that is?" asked Lucas with a face that said keep on going.

"Creation. Target Restoration. Tactile Chronokinesis." she simply said. "I know I know. Give me eldritch magic manipulation and a cape and I'll be Dr Strange. What? Don't you know by now I make Marvel and DC references for practically everything."

"I don't think that's why they're looking at you, [Y/N]." Eleven told her.

"Oh." She said.

Mike walked up to the girl and helped her to her feet. "Thanks, Michael."

Nancy patted her foot against the ground. She (along with the party) had only came out to Hopper's cabin, so Mike could ask [Y/N] out. Now, they have to be here in the middle of the woods as they watched the said girl restore the cabin to its state before she accidentially exploded it. They all knew she couldn't control her powers that she kept saying were manifesting now that she was in the mortal world verses the realm of Hypnos, Morpheus, and demonic dream monsters.

But what was the truth in all of that? How did she even explode the cabin to begin with? Eleven had only told them that she fainted and soon after that, the cabin had exploded. But... there was something in both of their eyes. Something that was telling everyone else that they were keeping something from them. But they shouldn't be complaining. Their lives and [Y/N]'s wouldn't go back to normal now that she was here.

No. She had powers. She had come back different. She was different. Certain trivial and menial tasks now seemed to be more complex than they were before. Certain easy, but complex decisions and events now seemed to be even more complicated and pushed to the margins more now than ever.

"Why were you guys coming to find us? Did something happen at your house, Mike?" Eleven asked, turning to him.

"Oh... uh... well... you see... uh... nothing happened. I was abducted by my sister ... to ... do... something I don't really... want to do... for a specific reason." Mike said.

Eleven turned to Nancy and Nancy just tilted her head to them. The simple getsure made Eleven give her an unverble oh with her mouth. She understand what they were doing here. They had brought him here to ask [Y/N] on a date. More likely than not to Saturday's Back to School carnival (seeing as it was Thursday).

"And what would that be?" [Y/N] asked.

"No. No. No. No diverting to the sidewalk before you," Hopper pointed a finger at [Y/N], "return my house back to normal. Exactly how I left it before you came along."

"Well, you see," Nancy started ignoring what Hopper was saying, "my brother has something he wishes to ask you." Nancy pushed her brother further towards her than he already was (which was some considering he had backed away from her after she got to her feet).

Dustin, Will, Lucas, and Max gave Mike a thumbs up before they turned around (along with Nancy). Dustin turned Eleven around and the weird teenagers walked away from the scene that they wanted to happen. Joyce seemed to understand what was going on and (after calming down a fuming Hopper), they walked over to a pile of rubble. And acted like they were talking to one another, but really they were staring at the scene play out.

Mike turned towards his friends and glared at them. "So, what did you want to ask me?"

"I... I... I... don't have anything to ask you." Mike denied.

"You don't?" the girl's face fell.

"Well, actually. Since your mom isn't letting you go back to school until Monday and you haven't been around the high school grounds yet, would you like to go with me to the corny Back to School Carnival the PTSA is throwing?" Mike asked.

[Y/N] tilted her head at him. "Like with all of you. I thought I was already going to."

"No. No. No. Like with me. Like just me. Like... on a-."

"Date?" [Y/N] asked, trying to finish his sentence for him.

"Well, yeah. But only if you want it to be." Mike said, adding the last bit in a rushed manner.

"Uh... uh... uh..." why can't I say yes?

"I knew it. I knew it. I fucking knew it. It's stupid. We can just go with the party. And we don't have to talk about my failed attempt to ask you out." Mike said, turning away from her.

"What? But I... I... wanted you to. To ask me out, I mean." she admitted.

"You did?" he asked her.

[Y/N] nodded her head. "Yeah. Yeah, I did. I just never thought you would because I didn't know if you liked me or not."

"Well, I do. A lot actually." he said.

Before the two teens just stared at one another. Droning out everything around them. For the moment it was just Michael Wheeler and [Y/N] [L/N]. The girl who came back with superpowers and the boy that always had hope for one another.

"If you're just going to stand there, can you fix my house? I would like it if me and Jane had a place to sleep for the night!"
