Lupan. I'm getting tired of seeing him everywhere. Because every time I see him, I get closer and closer to dying. Last time, I would have, if it weren't for Josi. Now, Josi stood there, staring, as Lupan advanced on her. Whatever fear of Lupan that I had, the thought of losing Josi, the closest thing I have to family, diminished that fear. I grab my dagger and throw it as hard and as accurate as I can. It goes straight into Lupan's dark eye. Confused by his sudden blindness, I take advantage, leaping like a gazelle onto the wolf's back, grabbing my dagger and thrusting it straight into his heart. My dagger, red to the hilt, falls from my grasp as I fall off of the beast and lose consciousness, overwhelmed by defeating my enemy. The last thing I see before I black out is the dark shadow I saw five years ago rise and surround me.
