Luka and I got separated, playing hide and seek. Yeah, we're dorks, but it's fun. I didn't know what was transpiring on the other side of the school. While Luka and I were playing our game, Simon found Abby wandering in the east wing.
"Hey, Abby," Simon greeted her.
"Hey, Simon," Abby said.
"Why are you in this part of the school?" He asked.
"I heard the school haunted, so I'm checking it out. Care to join me for some ghost hunting?" Abby asked.
"What happens when we find a ghost?" Simon questioned.
"What else? Take pictures," Abby answered, grinning.
Simon chuckled as they went hunting ghosts.
Niko and Damon were busy making out in the west end of the halls. As they got busy, they heard someone screaming, making them stop.
"What the hell was that?" Damon questioned.
Another scream erupted.
"That sounds like getting the hell out of here," Niko mentioned. They looked at each other and started walking, finding a way out.
"Shouldn't we find the others?" Damon asked as they searched for an exit.
"Oh, yeah, I forgot about our friends amid the screaming I hear," Niko said with a look.
"Come on, dick," Damon ordered as they went running, looking for us.
Simon and Abby were checking out a room when they heard a scream. They stopped, and Abby asked, "Simon? Did you scream like a chick?"
"Uh, I don't think so," Simon said. Abby looked at Simon, and he looked at her, furrowing his brows, then they heard another scream. Their eyes widened as they ran out of the room.
I walked down the hallway. "Luka," I said, looking around at rooms. I checked in one place, and someone touched me. I screamed and turned to see Luka, chuckling.
"That's not funny," I said, smacking him.
He chuckled. "Tag you're it," Luka said.
I shook my head as I looked and saw someone standing at the end of the hall with their head down. They were wearing all black and a hood, holding a knife.
"Uh, I'm not sure that person is part of the party," I mentioned, pointing past Luka. He stopped laughing and turned to see the person standing at the end of the hall.
"Run," Luka said.
"What?" I asked.
"Run!" Luka yelled, grabbing my hand. We started running as the killer ran after us. We slid down the hall, turning the corner as we ran. As we ran, the killer picked up speed and tackled Luka. "Run, Malia!" Luka yelled, fighting with the killer.
"Luka!" I yelled.
"Go!" Luka roared.
I turned and ran. I darted into the principal's office and hid. I heard screams as I thought about my next move. Then I heard footsteps. I peeked around a desk to see black boots, fuck.
I stayed put as the boots walked towards me, then stopped in front of me. I held my breath, then hands grabbed my leg and yanked me out from under the desk. My instinct kicked in, and I kicked at the person. I knocked them back, then scrambled to my feet.
I ran as the person got to their feet and chased me, tackling me. We fought, and I hit the person, making them lose their balance. I got to my feet quickly and started running until someone stepped out into my path. I skidded to a stop.
