Bounties for fun (Mao mao Fanfict)

Pirates

"Quinton!" a high call was heard, resonating among the walls of a castle. A small gray bird ran towards a white throne, where a white lion with a blue royal mantle and a crown was seating. "Quinton, come get me some grapes, will you?" The white lion commanded, while he looked at the small bird in front of him and gestured with his hand 'to leave'. Quinton nodded, he turned around and went on his way.

He took a few steps before a loud explosion was heard from outside, which startled them both. Suddenly, the doors were opened by a guard. A lizard wearing a pink armor with a heart at the center came in, he was severely injured, and from what could be seen, the valley behind him was being attacked. Explosions and laughter could be heard, accompanied by cries of distress. The guard opened his mouth, but immediately collapsed. Behind him, a huge creature with purple armor appeared. He seemed to have the body of an orangutan, but the head of a cobra. He wailed a purple sword that seemed like a hologram, that disappeared with the push of a button located in the handle. The creature started walking slowly towards the lion. The king sat up straight and started shivering a little.

"Stop! I command you!" He ordered, his voice shook. He tried to keep calm and kept his head up to seem intimidating, but the creature did not stop and kept calmly walking towards him. When they where only a few inches apart, the creature stopped, he touched his chest with one hand and placed his other arm behind his back. He then slightly leaned forward.

"Greetings, your majesty." He said calmly. Suddenly from behind the door, the laughter became louder. A small rat, accompanied by a cyborg ostrich and giraffe came into the scene. The ostrich dragged the body of a thin yellow dog wearing a pink armor and threw him next to the other guard. The rat then jumped on top of both of them and chuckled. The snake-like creature straightened his posture and looked behind him to see the others. When he turned to the king, a wide grin could be seen across his face. "Where's your sheriff?" He asked daringly. His tongue flickering with the last word.

"Mao Mao! You need to come back!" Camille cried.

"C-Camille! What's wrong?" Mao Mao asked shockingly. He touched a button placed aside of his helmet in order to hear better. Badgerclops and Adorabat were surprised too, so they leaned forward to hear, even a little. It had been too silent for Tanya not to hear what was going on. Her ear twitched, and she turned her head towards Mao Mao.

"Some ruffians came and began destroying the valley. They took some sweetypies and the king with them." She explained. Mao Mao felt his stomach sink and felt like his heart was going to pop out of his chest. The sky pirates. Badgerclops and Adorabat could not believe what they had just heard and went pale. Mao Mao quickly turned the aerocycle around, making a rough turn. Tanya did not know what was going on, but she turned and went right behind them.

"Hold on, Camille. We're coming"

When they arrived, there were still some unrecognizable pirates hanging around the valley, destroying and vandalizing all kinds of things. The valley was nearly unrecognizable. The group had to enter from the back of the castle, using a secret entrance to the dungeon, where Camille, Honey, and a big blue bird with armor where hiding. Mao Mao, Badgerclops, and Adorabat got out of the aerocycle in a rush, while Tanya took her time, concerned, but confused as to what was happening.

"Where were you?" Camille asked.

"Long story. What happened?" Mao Mao asked desperately, but trying to keep calm.

"Like I said. They nearly destroyed everything. I just found out that they have some of the sweetypies hostage, they have them as slaves, but we still don't know where they took the king, or what they're planning to do with him." Camille explained. Then it hit Tanya like a brick. That's why there were pirates and the valley was almost destroyed. She had been lost in her own thoughts, so she didn't realize it at the moment. She then looked at the trio and saw how pale they were. Mao Mao felt an enormous weight on his body. He looked at Camille wide-eyed and turned to the floor. He felt the room closing in, so he walked away towards a wall to have some distance from everyone. "We called sheriff's HQ multiple times, but nobody answered"
