When Kala woke up, she heard frogs. She sighed. "Really, Master Jaraiya." Kala sat up and saw Fukasaku watching her. "Come with me quickly. You have been summoned. We haven't much time." He says simply. Kala followed him and was led to a large room where a familiar, much larger and older toad sat. Kala bowed deeply. "Great Toad Sage." She addresses him. "I've been waiting for you, child. Hagoromo has mentioned you on many occasion. Though I warned him of the troubles that could be had from your interference." "I'm sorry, sir." Kala bowed again. The Great Toad chuckled. "You have brought great entertainment to many of us." Kala remained silent. He became serious then. "Lord, Naruto-boy will be here soon." "Quite right." The Toad agreed. "I'm sorry, dear." Kala heard Fukasaku say. Before darkness took her.

Kala awoke in a dream. She could hear voices, but could not move to respond. After a moment, she saw the Sage of the Six Paths watching her. "Back again, I see." Kala nodded and sat up. "What's happening?" "Nothing you need to concern yourself with now. You need your rest. It won't be too much longer. Kala felt it suddenly. Kakashi. The resolve. She recognized what she was sensing. Tears began to fall then. Hagoromo watched her closely. "You feel it even here. With a barrier I put in place myself." Kala looked at him confused. "You feel things so strongly, young one. But you know the outcome. Why do you mourn something you know is only temporary?" "Because I felt him. The same as Madara." "You love so easily. That is a form of danger, not unlike the Uchiha." Kala couldn't argue. "Unlike them, I don't have the power to make great change like that." "Is that why you escape then?" Kala looked at him confused again. He chuckled. "You need to rest. The hardest part is yet to come for you. You'll have no choice but to accept the outcome. And returning home means accepting reality as well. They'll have no memory of you. And yet, you'll carry them with you, the memories and experiences. What will you do then, I wonder."

Kala suddenly so tired, she couldn't keep her eyes open, fell into a deep sleep. No dreams this time. Just darkness.
